Xavier takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Nice shot lands for Velasquez. Xavier takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Velasquez thows a left - swing and a miss! Velasquez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Xavier moves away. Xavier is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Velasquez. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Xavier ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Xavier shoots in for a takedown but Velasquez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Velasquez misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Xavier.

Bruno Xavier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Velasquez scores with a sloppy right hand. Xavier should have avoided that one. Xavier is breathing heavily. Velasquez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Xavier manages to avoid it. Velasquez lands a right hook to the body.
Velasquez lands with a good body shot. A decent looking cross lands there for Velasquez. Velasquez connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Velasquez connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. A looping hook to the body misses from Velasquez. Xavier does a little dance to reset his feet. Velasquez scores with a crisp jab that stopped Xavier in his tracks. Velasquez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Xavier is rocked! Velasquez cracks Xavier with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Xavier tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Velasquez pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Xavier is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Leston lands a left and a right that send Necrose crashing to the mat, dazed. Leston thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Necrose is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Necrose is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Leston doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Necrose crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Necrose's bad books for that mishap!

It looks like Fejha Kurko has been cut. Kurko displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from wells. wells looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tapanakara ducks under a wild hook from Tannen. Tannen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tapanakara moves away. Tannen stuns Tapanakara with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Tapanakara moves away from the strike by Tannen. Tannen misses the shot to the body. Tapanakara slips under a jab. Tannen cracks Tapanakara with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Nice defenses there by Tapanakara. Tapanakara shoots in but no luck this time. Tannen throws a right and a left that both miss. Tannen swings for the body but Tapanakara moves out of range.

Tannen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tannen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tannen! Tannen moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

The fighters circling - Tannen throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Tannen misses with a looping right. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A jab from Tannen finds it's way through Tapanakara's defenses. Buford Tannen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Tapanakara takes one on the button. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tapanakara takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Some wild striking there from Tannen.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hua Silvah! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silvah throws a leg kick which misses Reed's front leg but catches the back leg as Reed tries to avoid it. Silvah shoots for a double leg takedown but Reed sprawls well. He's pushed Silvah's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Reed throws a lazy right hand but Silvah sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Reed throws a right and a left that Silvah avoids nicely. Reed with a lazy takedown attempt and Silvah counters with a good low kick that Reed was not able to check. Reed looks to land a left hand but Silvah moved out of range nicely. Silvah turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Reed is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silvah scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Silvah sitting and controlling from the half guard. Silvah passes to full mount! Silvah with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Silvah moves out of range of the strikes. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Silvah slips a straight right by Reed. Reed throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silvah tries to clinch but Reed moves out of range. Silvah connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. A solid leg kick lands there for Silvah.
Nice straight punches there by Silvah. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Silvah. Silvah lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Breed lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
