These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maynard looks to throw the jab but Grabowski is out of range. Grabowski throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Maynard scores with a jab. Grabowski acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Grabowski has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Maynard . Maynard shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Grabowski napping and manages to drive through into side control! Grabowski is looking for a sweep. Maynard tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Maynard working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Maynard wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Grabowski, who protects the arm well. Grabowski is not content to let Maynard control the position. Maynard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

And that's the end of the fight! Gray Maynard comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Maynard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Brown does it's job there. Nice jab there from Brown. Knight stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brown. Knight throws a body shot but no joy. Brown throws a left and a right that both miss

Brown content to stall in guard here. Knight has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Brown is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Knight. You can see the frustration on Knight's face as Brown controls the position. Knight wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brown wants to stand but Knight has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Knight works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Knight is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brown defends well. Brown prevents Knight from getting back to his feet. Knight keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully. Brown wants to get up but he can't break Knight's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Brown's corner is telling him to maintain position. Knight has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brown can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Knight is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Our spies down at at Jacks Fight Club inform us that Knight has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Knight being controlled here, momentarily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Escobar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Stark closes this distance looking for a takedown but Escobar circles away. Escobar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stark was covering up waiting for the punch and Escobar finishes the takedown easily into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Escobar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Escobar content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Stark has locked up a guillotine! Stark's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Escobar is holding on here and Stark must be using up a lot of energy. Escobar has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Stark gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Turkinen gets caught napping as Näkäräinen dives in and scores a takedown. Turkinen manages to retain guard. Näkäräinen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hapitchou blocks a jab. Henry works the jab nicely. Henry scores with the left hand. Hapitchou knows he should have avoided that one. Henry lands a jab. Henry on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Henry ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hapitchou moves away. Henry cracks Hapitchou with a good jab. Hapitchou lands with a cross. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hapitchou does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
