The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vatanabe dives in for a single leg takedown but Hitta sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Hitta closes the distance and pushes Vatanabe back into the cage.

A very excited looking Brantley Carter rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Alex Wright stepped up to the mic, saying 'When I sign a contract, I really want to give 180%. And if I can't give that, it's just not fair to the promotion and it's not fair to the fans and it's not fair to myself'.
