Pham tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Groat paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pham moves forwards but Groat connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Duc Minh Pham has been cut.
Pham moves out of range of the strikes.
Pham swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Pham throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Groat! But no joy.
Groat misses with a hook. Pham ducked under it nicely.
Groat uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pham.

Pham paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Pham rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Groat moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pham looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Groat cracks Pham with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Pham tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Groat pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Pham is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
