Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Max Power!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Artem Irhin!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Power changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Irhin jabs Power right on the nose. Power blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Max Power has been cut.
Power fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Irhin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Power connects with a good right hand that stumbles Irhin. Irhin circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Power has been working on his boxing with his coaches at London MMA Club in the buildup to the fight.

We've been informed that Irhin has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between De Bruyne (ranked 180 p4p, 15 weight class) and Kazuka Fuujin (ranked 136 p4p, 11 weight class). Bruyne comes to the cage accompanied by Busta Rhymes - Other Side Of The Road . Fuujin has chosen a lot of Asian swag in this young man as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
