The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burger fails with the takedown

Burger has hold of Brown's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Brown manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Burger has control of Brown's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Brown regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Burger wants to finish this one by submission but Brown is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Burger.

Brown is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Burger quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Burger but it's paid off an Brown is forced to tap! Nice work by Burger.
