Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between MJ Smith (ranked 8149 p4p, 766 weight class) and Bunnur Marbleforge (ranked 8846 p4p, 798 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Long Black Train. Bunnur Marbleforge struggled to make weight for this fight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marbleforge dodges the punch combination from Smith.
Smith moves into the clinch successfully.

Smith cracks a nice hook into Marbleforge's ribs. Smith seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Smith pushes Marbleforge up against the cage in a clinch. A nice left hand lands by Smith.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith lands an uppercut. Smith tightens his grip and picks Marbleforge up, before dumping him to the ground. Marbleforge manages to land in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Smith missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Smith trying to control but Marbleforge is working from the bottom.

Marbleforge has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Smith doesn't defend quickly enough and Marbleforge has managed to lock this one up! Can Smith escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Marbleforge on a fantastic submission victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Falco throws a jab when Bohn was well out of range. Bohn throws a series of punches but Falco moves out of range. Falco throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bohn throwing a counter right hand but Falco manages to avoid it. Bohn decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Falco keeping hold of Bohn's head, controlling as best he can. Bohn wants to stand up but Falco has a hold of him and won't allow it. Falco controlling the position for now. Bohn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Falco on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Falco's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. More stalling from Falco.

And that's the end of the fight! Sala Barbo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Barbo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakano takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Michael lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. The fighters circle momentarily. Michael darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Nakano tries to close the distance and clinch but Michael swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Michael fires out a quick counter leg kick but Nakano just manages to avoid it. Nakano takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Michael misses with a right hand and Michael takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Balbus Michael seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nakano stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Michael. Michael throws a hook to the side of Nakano's head but Nakano sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nakano in particular looking to stall. Balbus Michael is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Michael is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Fight Club FC, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Nakano is working for a kimura here but Michael manages to reverse the position and he's now in Nakano's guard.

Batts has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Silker. Batts wants to clinch up but Silker keeps it at a distance. Batts misses with an uppercut. Silker saw that one coming. Batts on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Silker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Batts. Silker jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Batts shoots in for a double leg but Silker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
