3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Manuel Lora! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lora misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Blanks moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Manuel Lora has been cut. Lora drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Lora closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Blanks did well to prevent Lora getting side control. Lora has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Island Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Blanks keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Lora passes to side control. Lora advances to mount. Lora wants to finish this one by submission but Blanks is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lora. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Blanks defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Lora.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lora has hold of Blanks's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Blanks manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Lora is working for a guillotine from mount but Blanks frees his head quite easily.
Blanks definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Lora tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Lora working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Blanks looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Lora! Submission of the night perhaps?
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Manuel Lora! In defeat, Billy Blanks stepped up to the mic, saying 'Where I am today, is where my mind and will put me, where I am tomorrow is where my mind will put me.'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nggunou swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by The. Nggunou shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts The as he jumps to the side. Nggunou misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The gets caught napping as Nggunou dives in and scores a takedown. The manages to retain guard. Nggunou not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The wants to stand and escape but Nggunou is having none of it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Nggunou drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nggunou jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nggunou won't allow The to sweep him here. Nggunou sitting in guard here, content to control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. The misses with a two punch combination.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nggunou landing punches. The tries to control the position but Nggunou now has his back.
Nggunou is looking for the choke from the back position but The is controlling his hands well. Nggunou could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Nggunou lands an elbow to the side of the head. Nggunou is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. The has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Nggunou has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! The taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Nggunou doesn't care though - he's delighted!

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Juan Rizky! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Azuma shoots for a takedown but Rizky saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rizky dives in and grabs Azuma's left leg, looking for a takedown. Azuma pushes down on Rizky's head and hops out. Azuma is looking to counter the offense by Rizky and move into the clinch. Rizky lands a jab to the nose. Azuma avoids the head kick by Rizky.
Azuma is looking for a counter combo. Azuma will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Azuma throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rizky's waist but Rizky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Azuma off to one side. Rizky tries to counter with a clinch but Azuma shakes him off and moves away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matsuo Azuma. That's going to take a lot out of him. Azuma slips under a jab from Rizky. Azuma dives in for a single leg takedown but Rizky sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Azuma doesn't succeed with the takedown so Rizky counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Azuma trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Rizky told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Rizky with a flurry of punches that miss.

Rizky tries to free his leg and advance position but Azuma is retaining full guard. Rizky slips nicely into half guard. Azuma tries to get to full guard but Rizky has control of the leg. Rizky missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rizky working over Azuma with some ground and pound. Azuma looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Rizky is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Azuma has managed to free his arm - good work. We've been hearing good reports from Azuma's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Rizky working the head and body with strikes. Rizky has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Azuma is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Rizky lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Oh Azuma is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Rizky working for a guillotine from mount but Azuma is in no mood to give up. Rizky pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Rizky jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Azuma is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Azuma and Rizky has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Juan Rizky dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Azuma closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rizky's guard. Rizky pushes Azuma off and gets back to his feet.
Azuma seems to have got his legs back now. Azuma avoids the head kick by Rizky.
Azuma doesn't manage to clinch there - Rizky circles away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Azuma or perhaps it was just good defense by Rizky, which made it look bad. Azuma throws a nice head kick!

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rizky drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Azuma defends it well.

Azuma fails with the takedown. Rizky changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rizky gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Azuma counters with a flying knee. Nice. Azuma dodges the punch combination from Rizky.
Rizky lands with a nice body punch. Rizky has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A head kick by Azuma misses and Rizky counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rizky thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rizky is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Rizky throws a big elbow that misses. Azuma keeping full guard, as Rizky tries to pass. Azuma tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rizky postures up and lands a big shot to Azuma's brow. Rizky thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rizky postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rizky with a nice head shot there.

Azuma is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juan Rizky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Azuma leaves Rizky with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

A little jabbing left from Rizky on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Azuma has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rizky. Azuma on the wrong end of a nice jab. Rizky closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Rizky wants to take a breather but Azuma is having none of it. Azuma avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rizky. Azuma trying to hold on to Rizky's head to control him but Rizky postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rizky lands strikes from half guard. Rizky trying to control from half guard but Azuma is working away. Rizky seems to be working for a kimura but Azuma defends the submission attempt. Rizky wants to lay and pray for a moment but Azuma keeps working. Rizky sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Azuma defending well though. Juan Rizky is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rizky trying to control the action but Azuma is working from the bottom. Matsuo Azuma has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Azuma is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rizky scores with a couple of nice shots.
And that's the end of the fight! Juan Rizky comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rizky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lampanga lands a left and a right that send Henrick crashing to the mat, dazed. Lampanga thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Damon Henrick has been cut. Lampanga has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Lampanga misses with a body shot.
Lampanga misses with a looping right. Henrick seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Lampanga waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Henrick. Lampanga throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Henrick crashing down! Henrick tries to stagger back to his feet but Lampanga just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Henrick asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Olongo Lampanga! Olongo Lampanga decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sia Mack misses with a double jab.
Sia Mack closes the distance and clinches. Roundtree tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Sia Mack leaning his opponent against the ropes. Sia Mack pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Roundtree walks into a jab. Sia Mack wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Roundtree's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sia Mack connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Roundtree scrambles back to his feet. Amoo Sia Mack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sia Mack feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Roundtree sprawling to the canvas! Roundtree rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sia Mack finish him?!
Roundtree is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Roundtree walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Sia Mack! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rider swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rider cracks Fight Me with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Rider throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fight Me on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rider lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Fight Me uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rider . Fight Me tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A shot to the liver by Rider . Beautiful body shot. Rider connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Rider takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fight Me misses with a right hand enabling Rider to counter with a crisp jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fight Me misses with an uppercut
and Rider counters with a nice uppercut. Fight Me bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rider 's head.
It looks like Myles Rider has been cut. Rider has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Fight Me rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rider counters with a left to the body. Rider swinging wildly here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rider misses with the combination.
Fight Me moves away from the strike by Rider . Donk. Rider catches Fight Me right on the button with a cross. Rider throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fight Me connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Fight Me connects with a nice looking jab.
Rider stalks Fight Me and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fight Me's face. Fight Me staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Just Fight Me has been cut. Fight Me moves out of range of the strikes. Fight Me was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Fight Me misses with a jab to the body
and Rider counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Fight Me looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Rider throws a series of punches but Fight Me avoids them all with ease. Fight Me moves into the clinch successfully.

Fight Me pushes Rider back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Fight Me has a couple of punches blocked by Rider .
Fight Me tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Rider blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Fight Me swings wildly with an uppercut but Rider uses good head movement to avoid it. Fight Me gets through Rider 's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Rider lands with a right to the head. Fight Me softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Rider is rocked! Fight Me misses with a punch on the inside.
Rider is still on wobbly legs! Can Fight Me finish him? Fight Me misses with some punches.

Fight Me tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Fight Me creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Rider 's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Rider drops to his knees and Fight Me pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Just Fight Me! Just Fight Me retains his bantamweight title! Lawler misses with a takedown and Borgvelt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lawler staying out of range there. We've been informed that Lawler has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Lawler gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Borgvelt counters with a crisp right hand that drops Lawler! Borgvelt lets Lawler back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like John Lawler has been cut. Lars Borgvelt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Lawler. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Borgvelt walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Lawler drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Borgvelt swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Lawler's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
