With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jacque Gauthier !
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gauthier takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Gauthier fails with an attempt to clinch.
As Gauthier looks to move away, Hirigushi throws a big counter combo but Gauthier just gets out of the way.
A combination from Hirigushi does no damage.
Hirigushi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gauthier stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hirigushi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Hirigushi stuns Gauthier with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gauthier tries to clinch there but Hirigushi circles away.
Hirigushi keeps the fight on the outside.

Hirigushi rushes Gauthier and presses him up against the ropes.
Hirigushi misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A nice left hand lands by Hirigushi.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Hirigushi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Gauthier tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hirigushi's elbow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hirigushi throws a right hand that Gauthier ducks under and follows up with a left that Gauthier also avoids with ease.

Gauthier is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hirigushi.
Gauthier takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hirigushi swats away the attempt to clinch by Gauthier .
Hirigushi works over Gauthier 's head and body with a nice combination.
Hirigushi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hirigushi clobbers Gauthier with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gauthier shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hirigushi scores with a sloppy right hand. Gauthier should have avoided that one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gauthier loads up on a big right hand but Hirigushi slips the punch.
Hirigushi scores with a jab. Gauthier acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Gauthier is rocked!
Hirigushi connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Gauthier 's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Gauthier - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!

Tubridy clips Palmer with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Palmer a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

Hammarskjold drops his hands momentarily and Hardman needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Hammarskjold just on the top of the head. Hammarskjold drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Hammarskjold - he's done!
