Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Harsh Jak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pari Jakh! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jakh closes the distance and clinches up with Jak, looking for a takedown. Jakh pushes Jak against the cage but Jak circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. As Jakh looks to move away, Jak throws a big counter combo but Jakh just gets out of the way. Jakh shoots in looking for a takedown. Jak tries to sprawl out of it but Jakh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jak manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jak tries to bum rush Jakh with a series of wild strikes but Jakh uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jakh shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Jak can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jakh controls the pace. Jak wants to get back to his feet but Jakh is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jakh wanted to stand there but Jak had control of the position. Jakh won't allow Jak to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jak trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Jakh engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Jak throws a right hand that Jakh ducks under and follows up with a left that Jakh also avoids with ease. Jakh steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Jak. Jak misses with a series of wild punches.
Jak throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Jakh counters with a shoot takedown. Jak fights it but they end up in guard. Jakh trying to control the position from guard on top but Jak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jakh won't allow Jak to get back to his feet. Jakh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jak swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jakh working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jak's head. Jakh throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jakh wants to control from the top but Jak keeps moving. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jakh wants to pass the guard but Jak is keeping the position. Jakh trying to control but Jak is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jakh closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jak circles away. Harsh Jak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pari Jakh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jak lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Jakh shoots in looking for a takedown but Jak manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jakh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jak appears to be looking for a big counter. Jakh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jak's waist but Jak gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jakh off to one side. Jakh gets a takedown into half guard. Jakh looks winded! Jakh tries to pass to full mount but Jak defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Still in half guard, Jakh seems content to control. Jak is trying to stand up here but Jakh is controlling him well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jakh decides to stand up. Jakh fails with a takedown attempt. Jak buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jak looks for the body kick but Jakh saw that one coming. Jakh shoots in but no luck this time. Jak throws a big counter combination but Jakh scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Jak misses with a two punch combination.
Jakh goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jak looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Jak misses with a double jab.
Jakh shoots for a takedown but Jak saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jakh moves into range and clinches up with Jak. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Harsh Jak will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Nice work there by Jakh. Jakh wants to control from the top but Jak keeps moving. Jak utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jak wants to stand but Jakh is controlling the position. Jak is wriggling around but Jakh manages to pass to half guard.

and Jakh counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jakh. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jakh lands a knee to the head.
Jakh has Jak pressed against the cage, preventing Jak from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Jak wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Jakh lands a knee to the head.
Our sources have told us that Jak has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Jakh taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Jakh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jakh fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jak avoids it really well and circles away. Jakh shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jak defends it nicely. Jakh rushes Jak and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jakh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jak takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Pari Jakh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
A combination from Jak does no damage. Harsh Jak is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jakh fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jak has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Jak misses with a double jab.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jakh scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Jak to see if he's OK. Jakh decides to take the fight back to the feet. Jak lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jakh circles away quickly and effectively. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jakh is defended easily by Jak. Jakh moves into the clinch. Jakh fails to pull guard.
Harsh Jak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pari Jakh. Jakh jumps guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jakh bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jak's guard. Jak keeping full guard, as Jakh tries to pass. Jakh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jakh landing some decent shots from guard. Jakh trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jak's guard. Jakh is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jak keeping moving, preventing Jakh from controlling successfully. Jakh is looking to advance position but Jak has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Jakh keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Harsh Jak. I think Jak has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcvay shoots in and gets a takedown into Fairchild's guard. Fairchild is pulling down on Mcvay's head to control his posture. Mcvay working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Mcvay slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Mcvay seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fairchild for as long as he can get away with. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A bit of a stalemate here. Mcvay keeps control of the position easily here as Fairchild tries to buck him off.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oh, that's a big right hand from Beatovskiy and Parker goes tumbling to the canvas! Beatovskiy follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
It looks like Josh Parker has been cut. Parker looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Beatovskiy creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Parker is out cold and this one is all over! Beatovskiy climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.

It looks like Takanori Yamamoto has been cut. Yamamoto with a lazy takedown attempt and Williams counters with a huge left! Yamamoto is in big trouble! He's backing up but Williams isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Yamamoto from any more damage. A dominating finish by Williams!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ted Williams! A less than humble Ted Williams misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities. The defeated Takanori Yamamoto had this to say: 'ごめんなさい !'.

Truck pulls Bates in close trying to recover. Bates postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Truck on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Truck doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Show throws a series of strikes that have Matipuno backpedaling.
No luck for Matipuno with that takedown attempt. Matipuno throws a sloppy head kick and Show moves out of range easily. Matipuno on the wrong end of a nice hook. Matipuno throws a left and a right that both miss
and Show counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Matipuno misses with a straight left. Show scores with a hook to the body. Matipuno takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. A lazy left from Show finds it's target. Show throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Show lands a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! It looks like Show has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Show has taken the fight to the clinch.

Show feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Matipunos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Matipuno tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Show manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Matipuno takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Show bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Matipuno's head backwards. Good exchange - Show coming out on top. Big Show is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Matipuno takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Matipuno is rocked! Show connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Matipuno tumbling to the canvas! Show pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Matipuno was done - good stoppage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ogbeche clobbers Bongiorno with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Bongiorno goes for a double leg but Ogbeche avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ogbeche continues to drive forward. A big left from Ogbeche misses. Ogbeche drops Bongiorno with a beautiful combination! Bongiorno stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ogbeche is looking for the KO!
It looks like Ray Bongiorno has been cut. Ogbeche throws a left and a right that both miss
so Bongiorno counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bongiorno wants to pass the guard but Ogbeche is keeping the position. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Ogbeche trying to keep a closed guard but Bongiorno is proving a slippery customer.

Werbenjagermanjensen pushes Shlemenko against the cage but Shlemenko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Alex Shlemenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
