The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warren misses with a series of wild punches.
Warren connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Yang's hands.
Warren's coach down at Blood Warrior was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Warren's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
A swing and a miss from Warren.
A combination from Warren does no damage.
Yang throws a right and a left that both miss.
Warren throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Yang is nestled in close to Warren, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Yang is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Yang seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Warren does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Yang lands a big shot there that rocks Warren but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That was a close round but I would say that Emon Yang will probably get the nod.

Joey Warren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Yang with that takedown attempt.
Warren ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yang moves away.

Yang looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Warren is fending him off so far but Yang persists. Nope, Warren circles away and we're back to standing.
