Santana tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Santana has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

You can see the frustration on Ruenroeng's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Santana is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ruenroeng will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berg shoots in looking for a takedown. Gilmore tries to sprawl out of it but Berg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gilmore manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gilmore slaps away a takedown attempt from Berg, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Berg shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gilmore as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hysse Berg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Berg dives in and grabs Gilmore's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gilmore pushes down on Berg's head and hops out.
Gilmore ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Berg moves away.
Berg has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 3Band MMA ($500/week) in the buildup to the fight.
Berg tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gilmore swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Berg.
It seemed like Gilmore was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
