The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kramer Ii throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sweeney counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kramer Ii takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Kramer Ii keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kramer Ii looks to throw the jab but Sweeney is out of range. Kramer Ii misses with the combination.
Yeshaya Kramer Ii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kramer Ii tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sweeney was well out of range. Poor timing from Kramer Ii. Sweeney swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kramer Ii cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A combination from Sweeney does no damage. Sweeney throws an overhand right that lands on Kramer Ii's shoulder, as Kramer Ii tries to avoid the shot. Sweeney throws a nice looking combination but Kramer Ii bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kramer Ii throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sweeney pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kramer Ii is looking to counter the offense by Sweeney and move into the clinch. Sweeney just misses with a punch to the body.
Kramer Ii half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Sweeney slips under a jab from Kramer Ii. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kramer Ii throws a sloppy body shot
and Sweeney counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sweeney lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Sweeney has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Sweeney bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Kramer Ii lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sweeney circles away quickly and effectively. Sweeney lands a nice shot to the body.
Sweeney connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Kramer Ii misses with a lunging right hand
letting Sweeney counter with a right hand. Sweeney throws a lazy right hand but Kramer Ii sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kramer Ii misses with a takedown letting Sweeney counter with a right hand. Kramer Ii looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Jab by Sweeney. Kramer Ii falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sweeney counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Kramer Ii is breathing heavily. Sweeney lands with a cross.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sweeney connects with a body shot. Sweeney wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Kramer Ii walks into a stiff left hand from Sweeney. Sweeney throws a front kick aimed at Kramer Ii's knee but Kramer Ii avoids it well. Kramer Ii looks to throw the jab but Sweeney is out of range. Sweeney connects with a jab. Sweeney has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Sweeney moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kramer Ii is rocked! Sweeney is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kramer Ii had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Sweeney jabs Kramer Ii to the body, keeping him at a distance. Kramer Ii wants to clinch but Sweeney slips to the side and Sweeney counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Kramer Ii gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sweeney. Sweeney throws a series of punches but Kramer Ii moves out of range. Sweeney lands a left and a right that send Kramer Ii crashing to the mat, dazed. Sweeney thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Oh Kramer Ii is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sweeney thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kramer Ii if he has to take too many more of those.
Sweeney thuds his right hand into Kramer Ii's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Sweeney is stalking Kramer Ii. Kramer Ii circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Sweeney, and it's lights out! Kramer Ii really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Liang tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Porto defends well and Liang ends up having to push Porto into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch. Porto swats away the attempt to clinch by Liang. Porto circles away from the clinch attempt.
Porto loads up on a big right hand but Liang slips the punch. Liang pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A jab from Porto finds it's way through Liang's defenses. Liang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Liang moves out of range as Porto strikes. Liang changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Liang moves into the clinch. Porto lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Porto lands an elbow just above Liang 's eye.
It looks like Barcode Liang has been cut. Porto drops Liang onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Liang is propped up by the ropes and works his way back to his feet!

Parker ducks under a wild hook from Begood. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Parker! But no joy. Begood tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Parker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Begood slips a straight right by Parker. Parker looks to land a left hand but Begood moved out of range nicely. Begood was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Begood avoids the body shot from Parker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blunt throws a right hand that Baker ducks under and follows up with a left that Baker also avoids with ease. Baker darts in looking for a takedown but Blunt gets double underhooks and turns Baker into the ropes. Good standup being displayed there by Blunt as he connects with a hook. Blunt shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Blunt stuns Baker with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Baker slips under a jab. Baker swinging wildly here.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Blunt has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Blunt misses the jab. Good exchange - Blunt coming out on top. Baker shoots in looking for a takedown but Blunt manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Baker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Blunt lands a jab to Baker's midsection. Baker moves into the clinch. Blunt pulls guard effortlessly. Baker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Blunt keeping moving, preventing Baker from controlling successfully. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blunt is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Blunt keeping full guard, as Baker tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baker decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Blunt, up you get! Baker throws a leg kick that misses. Blunt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baker as he jumps to the side. Blunt darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Blunt throws a jab but it's blocked by Baker. Baker throws a solid leg kick but Blunt takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Baker. Blunt checks a low kick from Baker. Jab, jab by Blunt - just one landing. Blunt circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baker darts in and clinches Blunt up against the ropes. A head punch blocked on the inside by Baker. Baker is trying to stall.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Baker seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Blunt is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment. Baker drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Baker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baker is struggling to control the position. Baker looking to stall.
Blunt tries to pull guard but Baker won't allow it.
Baker is pushing Blunt up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by George Baker. Nice body punch from Blunt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blunt moves out of range of the strikes. Blunt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Baker counters with a three punch combo that has Blunt backing up. Blunt nods at Baker to acknowledge the strikes. Blunt tests Baker's chin there with a solid looking shot. Baker wants to clinch but Blunt slips to the side so Blunt counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Baker wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Baker is trying to control the position but Blunt postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blunt wants to pass the guard but Baker is keeping the position. Baker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've been hearing good reports from Baker's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blunt stands and throws Baker's legs to the side, diving into side control. Baker wants to control but Blunt postures up. Blunt trying to control the action but Baker is working from the bottom. Baker is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. You can see the frustration on Baker's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. Baker defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Baker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Blunt on the ground. Blunt avoids the attempt from Baker to control. Blunt can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Baker is looking to escape. Baker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Baker tries to get out of the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Baker tries to escape but Blunt has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Baker trying to control the position but Blunt manages to sink in the hooks. Baker manages to reverse the position and now he's in Blunt's guard. Nice work there by Baker.

Baker postures up in Blunt's guard and throws a big left but Blunt blocks it. Blunt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Baker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Barry Blunt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Blunt lands a jab. Blunt catches Baker with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Baker throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Blunt blocks a head kick by Baker.
Blunt doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Blunt misses the shot to the body. Jab from Blunt. Blunt scores with a crisp jab that stopped Baker in his tracks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blunt lands a slapping body shot.
Blunt cracks Baker with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Baker needs to keep his hands up - Blunt had a free shot at his head there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Blunt cracks Baker with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baker has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Blunt finds it's way round the side to connect with Baker's head. Baker misses with a combination
and Blunt counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Blunt avoids the head kick by Baker.

A big right from Blunt misses. Baker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Blunt feints the counter takedown. Barry Blunt seems to be getting the better of the standup. No luck for Baker with that takedown attempt. A shot to the liver by Blunt. Beautiful body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blunt ducks down and throws a hook to the body. George Baker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Blunt throws a right and a left that Baker avoids nicely. Blunt connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Baker momentarily.
Baker rushes Blunt and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Blunt has been the more effective fighter overall so far. This has been an exciting period of action! Baker is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Blunt gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Baker.
Baker jumps guard but Blunt turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Baker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blunt letting Baker take a breather here. Baker wants a takedown but no success here.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Baker. Blunt scores with a nice hook to the head. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Baker. Baker blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Blunt changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Blunt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Baker as he avoids it easily. Baker moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. A clash of legs there as Blunt blocks the low kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blunt lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Donk. Blunt catches Baker right on the button with a cross. Baker has his takedown stuffed and Blunt counters with a nice uppercut. Barry Blunt is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Blunt has a takedown stuffed. Baker is looking for a counter combo. Blunt lunges at Baker with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Baker's hand.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell wants to clinch and Kent counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Bell shoots and misses and Kent connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Nice uppercut there from Kent.
It looks like Dominique Bell has been cut. Bell with a poor takedown and Kent counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kent has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Play House in the buildup to the fight. Bell takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bell is rocked! Bell throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kent was covering up waiting for the punch and Bell finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kent swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bell throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bell wants to take a breather but Kent is having none of it. Bell is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kent sees it coming and defends easily. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Booker is looking to score with low kicks. Booker has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Booker stalks Turturro and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Turturro's face. Turturro staggers backwards, shaken. Turturro fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Booker sprawls well initially but Turturro persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Turturro is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Booker is defending against the submission attempts here by Turturro.
Turturro is looking for a kimura but Booker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Turturro to get the leverage. Turturro is looking to take a break and control but Booker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Turturro moves nicely into side control.
