Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Charlie Chan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Adermundie!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan checks the leg kick.
Chan shoots for a double leg takedown but Adermundie sprawls well. He's pushed Chan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Chan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Adermundie.
Chan has been working on his balance at Lock and Roll Gym, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Adermundie.
Adermundie leaves Chan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Chan lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Chan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Adermundie avoids it really well and circles away.

Well Adermundie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yukimura Gomi!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi tries to bum rush Frank with a series of wild strikes but Frank uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Frank with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Frank fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gomi on the side of the head.
Frank scores with a jab to the head.
Gomi throws a half hearted mid kick.
Gomi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Frank.
Frank lands a jab to the head.
Gomi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Frank manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Frank throwing a counter right hand but Gomi manages to avoid it.
Frank fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Frank lands a leg kick that knocks Gomi off balance momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gomi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Frank paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Frank works Gomi's body with a nice hook.

Gomi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Frank ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gomi moves away.
Frank chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Gomi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Frank to score with a decent uppercut.
Gomi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Frank paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Frank misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Frank lands a right hook to the body.
An inside leg kick lands from Frank.
Gomi thows a leg kick but Frank checks it
and Gomi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A punch lands to the side of Gomi 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Frank swats away the attempt to clinch by Gomi.
Gomi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Frank manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Frank throws a right and a left that Gomi avoids nicely.
Gomi thinks about the counter body kick.
Frank lands a jab to the head.
Frank scores with a hook to the body. Gomi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Frank scores with a nice strike.
Gomi tries to clinch there but Frank circles away.
Gomi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Frank.
Frank is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Frank lands a leg kick that knocks Gomi off balance momentarily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Frank uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Frank throws a chopping leg kick but Gomi manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Despite the aggression on Gomi's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Gomi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Frank finds it's way round the side to connect with Gomi's head.
Frank paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A jab lands there for Frank.
Gomi lands a jab-cross combination.
Frank lands with a kick to the ribs.
Gomi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Frank scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Frank wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Gomi looks winded!
Frank throws a leg kick which misses Gomi's front leg but catches the back leg as Gomi tries to avoid it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
No joy there for Gomi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Frank jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Frank lands with a shot to the body.
LaDavian Frank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A cross from Frank lands.
Frank throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Frank closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Gomi out cold! Gomi corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
