We've been informed that Clark has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Panda manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tay on his heels. He'll look to pass Tay's guard now, I'm sure.
Panda could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Panda throws a strike but Tay rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Panda seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Tay won't allow Panda to sweep him here.
Tay wants to get up but he can't break Panda's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
