Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Hines Jr (ranked 5003 p4p, 509 weight class) and Harold Meechum (ranked 4664 p4p, 483 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randy Hines Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harold Meechum! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hines Jr displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Meechum. Hines Jr swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Hines Jr misses with a leg kick
and Meechum counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hines Jr wants to stand up but Meechum is controlling him. Meechum with a flurry of punches that miss. Meechum postures up.
Meechum seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Meechum landing with the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Meechum accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

He's pushed Meechum's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Randy Hines Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That looked like it hurt. Randy Hines Jr is winning the standup battle so far. Meechum is breathing heavily. Hines Jr misses the jab.
Meechum shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hines Jr manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Hines Jr is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Meechum is controlling him. Meechum in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Meechum trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Hines Jr doesn't escape. Meechum's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Hines Jr covering up well under a series of strikes from Meechum. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bull tries for a takedown but Djapic circles away easily and Djapic connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Djapic fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bull has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Djapic pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bull has a takedown stuffed. Nice takedown defense from Djapic. No joy for Bull on that attempt. Djapic appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clubber Bull. That's going to take a lot out of him. Djapic throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bull on the side of the head. Djapic chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bull drives through with a takedown into Djapic's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Bull is fighting to break Djapic's control of his arms but Djapic is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Djapic feints and then cracks Bull's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bull down. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Djapic.

Djapic sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bull moves away from the strike by Djapic. Bull gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Bull takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Djapic throws a nice outside leg kick. Bull shoots and misses and Djapic counters with a good low kick that Bull was not able to check. Bull fails with the takedown and Djapic counters with a lovely straight right hand! Proudfeather has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tayne's 4d3d3d3 Gym in the buildup to the fight. Proudfeather scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Proudfeather lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ramos's sensitive parts. That kick from Proudfeather tenderised Ramos's leg. Ramos is trying to keep his angry face on. Proudfeather lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ramos will feel that in the morning. Proudfeather throws a wild body kick that Ramos sees coming a mile off. Ramos looks like he wants to counter punch here. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ramos crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Proudfeather - the referee stops the clock and Ramos gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Proudfeather. Ramos manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Proudfeather throws a head kick but Ramos moves out of range.

Proudfeather throws a low kick, looking for Ramos's leg but Ramos calmly moves out of range. Proudfeather throws a sloppy head kick and Ramos moves out of range easily. Ramos throws out a counter right but Proudfeather avoids it with no problem. Proudfeather throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Ramos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Proudfeather lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ramos will feel that in the morning. Proudfeather misses with an attempted mid kick.
It seemed like Ramos was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. A nice inside leg kick there by Proudfeather. That's going to slow Ramos down. Leonard Proudfeather seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Proudfeather pushes Ramos away with a front kick. Proudfeather throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Ramos looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Ramos has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Proudfeather.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Proudfeather lands with a nice body kick. Proudfeather dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ramos. That did some damage! Proudfeather pushes Ramos away with a front kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!  It looks like Antonio Ramos has been cut. Proudfeather cracks the inside of Ramos's front leg. Proudfeather lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Ramos takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ramos! But no joy.

Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Proudfeather can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
