The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petpanpamnuang pushes Aguiar away with a front kick. A momentary lapse in concentration from Petpanpamnuang enables Aguiar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Petpanpamnuang manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Petpanpamnuang is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Aguiar passes Petpanpamnuang's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Petpanpamnuang is trying to maintain the position but Aguiar is very close to passing his half guard. Petpanpamnuang wants to get back to his feet.
Aguiar missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petpanpamnuang is doing well to control the position and prevent Aguiar from advancing to side control. Aguiar sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Petpanpamnuang defending well though.

Still in half guard, Aguiar seems content to control. Aguiar prevents Petpanpamnuang from improving his position. Petpanpamnuang's coaches at Gizmo's Gym have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Petpanpamnuang manages to escape and get back to his feet! Aguiar has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petpanpamnuang fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Aguiar has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Aguiar steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Petpanpamnuang. That one must have hurt. Petpanpamnuang connects with a leg kick. Aguiar looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Aguiar doesn't succeed with the takedown and Aguiar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Aguiar gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Petpanpamnuang counters with a lovely straight right hand! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Petpanpamnuang scores with a sloppy right hand. Aguiar should have avoided that one. Petpanpamnuang lands with an overhand left.
Aguiar is rocked! Aguiar walks straight into a right hand from Petpanpamnuang - that's dropped him! Petpanpamnuang jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Aguiar from any more punishment! Aguiar complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Yodmuay Petpanpamnuang! Yodmuay Petpanpamnuang bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Abdallah throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Aljaffa wants to clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. Aljaffa misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Aljaffa manages to break the clinch.
Abdallah throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Aljaffa lands a nice shot that snaps Abdallah's head back.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Abdallah slips under a jab from Aljaffa. Aljaffa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Abdallah.

That's one minute gone in the round. Abdallah throws a looping overhand right but Aljaffa ducks down to avoid it. Aljaffa walks into a stiff left hand from Abdallah. Aljaffa wants to clinch. Abdallah tries to bum rush Aljaffa with a series of wild strikes but Aljaffa uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Abdallah comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Abdallah moves into the clinch. Abdallah misses with some punches.
Aljaffa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Aljaffa ducks under a wild hook from Abdallah. Aljaffa throws the left hand but Abdallah avoids the punch easily. A little jabbing left from Abdallah on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Abdallah scores with a punch to the head. Abdallah connects with a jab. Abdallah thuds a left hand into Aljaffa's body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Aljaffa jabs Abdallah right on the nose. Abdallah blinks but takes it well. Abdallah throws a hook but Aljaffa blocks it. A decent looking cross lands there for Abdallah.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abdallah gets a clinch. Abdallah tries a body shot but Aljaffa blocks it.
Abdallah scores with an uppercut up the middle. Abdallah tries to throw a body punch but Aljaffa avoids it by throwing Abdallah back against the cage. Abdallah tries a body shot but Aljaffa blocks it.

Aljaffa's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Abdallah fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Abdallah gets through Aljaffa's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Abdallah lands a hook to the side of the head.
Mehdi Aljaffa's cut is getting worse. Aljaffa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Abdallah with a nice cross. Abdallah moves into the clinch. Aljaffa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Aljaffa takes a body punch but keeps moving. Abdallah throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Aljaffa takes one on the button. The fight moves into the clinch position. Good body shot from Abdallah.

Aljaffa drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Abdallah rushes Aljaffa and presses him up against the cage. Abdallah lands a body shot in the clinch.

Mehdi Aljaffa's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. A hook to the body from Abdallah.
Abdallah lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Abdallah lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Nice body punch from Abdallah. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Abdallah lands a shoulder strike.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McHough throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Kent counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Ben McHough has been cut. McHough takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Kent definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. McHough looks to land a left hand but Kent moved out of range nicely. McHough throws a leg kick which misses Kent's front leg but catches the back leg as Kent tries to avoid it. Kent throws a right and a left that both miss. McHough shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Kent getting the better of the striking in that exchange. A nice combination there by Kent.

This has been an exciting period of action! McHough throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A nice leg kick lands there from McHough. McHough throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kent. A low kick from McHough is predictable there and Kent counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. McHough throws out a loose jab but Kent uses good head movement to avoid it. Kent thuds his right hand into McHough's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Kent moves out of range of the body kick. Kent swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. McHough feints and then cracks Kent's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kent down. McHough walks into a straight right hand from Kent. McHough wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kent!
Kent takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kent scores with a jab to the jaw. Kent throws a body punch but McHough moves out of range. Kent is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. McHough turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kent connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McHough tries to land a body kick and Kent counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. McHough swings for the body but Kent moves out of range.
Kent throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jab from Kent. Kent lands a jab to McHough's midsection. Kent misses with a right hand and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. McHough throws the left hand but Kent avoids the punch easily. Kent seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. McHough scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kent in his tracks. Kent is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. McHough just misses with a punch to the body.

Kent moves out of range of the body kick from McHough.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kent slips a jab from McHough. Kent lands a straight punch to the body, keeping McHough at a distance.
McHough stalks Kent and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kent's face. Kent staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Clark Kent has been cut. McHough ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kent moves away. Kent misses with a wild body shot. McHough now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Ben McHough seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kent fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McHough looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. McHough fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kent manages to avoid it. Kent connects with a body shot. McHough buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A telegraphed right hand from McHough misses the target. Kent moves out of range of the body kick from McHough.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kent scores with a jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kent misses the shot to the body. Kent takes a swing at McHough's ribcage but misses. McHough is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kent rather than just go for the knockout. Kent keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McHough. Kent moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Kent takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kent sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Kent connects with a good right hand that stumbles McHough. McHough circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That has opened up Ben McHough's cut even more. Kent misses with a wild combination.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. McHough throws a head kick that misses. Kent ducks right into an uppercut from McHough. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clark Kent dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
McHough throws a sloppy head kick and Kent moves out of range easily. McHough throws a nice outside leg kick. Kent blocks the body kick.
Kent takes a kick to the side of the head.
Kent is rocked! McHough dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Oh Kent is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kent throws a jab when McHough was well out of range. McHough cracks Kent with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kent tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but McHough pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kent is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Mokami is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Mokami passes into half guard. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mokami on the ground. Mokami sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jones defending well though. Jones is looking for a sweep. Mokami is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mokami not landing any meaningful shots this time. Mokami wants to work for an arm triangle but Jones is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mokami has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Blood Warrior. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Mokami jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mokami tries to get to full guard but Jones has control of the leg. Mokami is trying to control but can't.

Mokami is trying to get back to full guard. Mokami actively working from the bottom here. Mokami is refusing to be controlled, as Jones sits in half guard. Nice strikes from Jones there. Mokami is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back! Mokami has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mokami connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Jones to escape the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mokami is trying to stick to Jones's back but Jones is turning into Mokami. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mokami's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jones.

He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Jones frees his head nicely. Oh but Mokami has switched to an armbar! Jones is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Heavyweight's coach down at Gizmo's Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Heavyweight's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Case throws a jab when Heavyweight was well out of range. Heavyweight avoids a punch combination nicely.

Heavyweight cracks Case with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. It looks like Case has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Case looks to land a left hand but Heavyweight moved out of range nicely. Case uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Heavyweight. A little feinted left hand from Case on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Heavyweight dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Case uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Heavyweight. Case is looking to counter punch. Heavyweight throws a body shot but no joy. Case walks into a left hand. Case drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Case jabs Heavyweight right on the nose. Heavyweight blinks but takes it well.
