Pinea lands a glancing blow to the side of Wallace's head. Pinea uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Pinea fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pinea bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Pinea here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pinea tries to clinch up but Wallace circles away and keeps his distance. Wallace shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Wallace throws a head kick that misses. Both fighters circling a little - Pinea finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Pinea waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wallace. Wallace is trying to counter with his kicks. Pinea lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. This has been an exciting period of action! Pinea tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wallace steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Pinea wants to clinch but Wallace slips to the side and Wallace counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pinea thinking. Wallace throws a hook but Pinea avoids it easily. Pinea misses with a low kick. Pinea scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Wallace is not content to let Pinea control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pinea is putting a hurting on Wallace here, landing some big shots from side control. Pinea working the head and body with strikes. Pinea is looking to take a break and control but Wallace is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wallace tries to escape but Pinea is in control. Pinea trying to control the position but Wallace is working away. Sloppy strikes there by Pinea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wallace pushes Pinea away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Pinea gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. A lull in the action here as Pinea stalls from top position. Wallace is trying to buck Pinea off. Pinea misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Putin ducks straight into an uppercut from Mammoth and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Putin manages to regain guard straight away.

My spies in House of Gladiators inform me that Mammoth has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Mammoth controlling from the full mount. Putin is squirming around, avoiding Mammoth's attempts to control the action.

Putin is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Mammoth is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Putin is having to fend off submission attempts from Mammoth, who is looking to sink in the choke. Mammoth doesn't have the hooks in though and Putin manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard. Putin is fighting to break Mammoth's control of his arms but Mammoth is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Mammoth has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Putin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mammoth throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Mammoth lands with a good body shot. Mammoth stuns Putin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mammoth throws a sloppy head kick and Putin moves out of range easily. Putin takes a body punch but keeps moving. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Good shot there by Mammoth. Putin blocks a jab.

Putin slips a straight right by Mammoth. Mammoth cracks Putin with a big right hand and Putin goes down! Mammoth stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Putin swivels though and keeps the full guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mammoth passes Putin's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Putin is defending against the submission attempts here by Mammoth.

It seemed like Mammoth was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Mammoth dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Putin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mammoth connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Putin momentarily.

Putin stumbles backwards against the cage. Mammoth steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Putin's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Putin just didn't come prepared.

After the fight, Anton Mammoth was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Iwoba doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Iwoba looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Pichushkin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Iwoba dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Pichushkin thuds a left hand into Iwoba's body. Iwoba slips a straight right by Pichushkin. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Pichushkin throws a nice outside leg kick. Pichushkin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Iwoba moves away. Pichushkin throws a jab when Iwoba was well out of range. 25 - 15 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Callum Pagnozzi! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pagnozzi throws a leg kick that misses. Pagnozzi scores with a jab to the head.
Hoyce looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Hoyce moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Pagnozzi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hoyce stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pagnozzi. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pagnozzi.
Hoyce throws a big shot that misses. Pagnozzi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hoyce. Pagnozzi throws a lazy right hand but Hoyce sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Pagnozzi scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Pagnozzi throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Callum Pagnozzi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pagnozzi takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Callum Pagnozzi has been cut. Pagnozzi catches Hoyce napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Hoyce to the canvas!
It looks like Hennan Hoyce has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hoyce keeping full guard, as Pagnozzi tries to pass. Hoyce pulls Pagnozzi in to control the position. Pagnozzi trying to control but Hoyce is working from the bottom.

Hoyce wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pagnozzi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Pagnozzi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Pagnozzi throws a big elbow that misses. Pagnozzi controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hoyce keeping moving, preventing Pagnozzi from controlling successfully. Pagnozzi stopping the sweep attempt from Hoyce.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pagnozzi with a flurry of punches that miss. Hoyce is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Pagnozzi throws a lazy right hand but Hoyce sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hoyce walks into a left hand. Pagnozzi misses the shot to the body. Pagnozzi fails with the takedown and Hoyce connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hoyce looks to land a right hand but Pagnozzi moved out of range. Hoyce misses with a right hand and Pagnozzi counters with a left and a right that stings Hoyce. Hoyce looks to throw the jab but Pagnozzi is out of range. Hennan Hoyce is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pagnozzi scores with the left hand. Hoyce knows he should have avoided that one. Pagnozzi is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Pagnozzi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pagnozzi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hoyce pinned against the cage. Hoyce gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hoyce is looking to counter punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pagnozzi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hoyce sees it coming and avoids it easily. A little feinted left hand from Hoyce on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Hoyce uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pagnozzi.
Pagnozzi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A cross from Hoyce lands. Pagnozzi looks to land a combination but Hoyce avoids it well. Pagnozzi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Pagnozzi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Pagnozzi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Hoyce misses with a looping right. A head kick misses from Hoyce. Hoyce swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Pagnozzi cracks Hoyce with an open hand slap. Pagnozzi scoring well with a low kick there.
Hoyce is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Nice defenses there by Pagnozzi. Pagnozzi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hoyce stuffs the takedown. Hennan Hoyce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Callum Pagnozzi.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoyce tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. This has been an exciting period of action! Pagnozzi just misses with a punch to the body.
Hoyce throws a lazy head kick and Hoyce takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hoyce takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hoyce lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hoyce takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Pagnozzi throws a quick inside leg kick. Hoyce jabbing away but nothing is landing. Pagnozzi misses with a low kick as Hoyce jumps back. Hoyce tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pagnozzi connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Pagnozzi digs a good body shot into Hoyce's ribs. Pagnozzi throws a lazy right hand but Hoyce sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Pagnozzi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hoyces jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hoyce is rocked! Pagnozzi gets in close and tags Hoyce with a short punch that almost sends Hoyce to the mat! Oh Hoyce is in big trouble! He turns his back on Pagnozzi, trying to create some distance but Pagnozzi rushes him, striking wildly and Hoyce goes down! The referee tackles Pagnozzi into the cage to end the fight! Pagnozzi is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Callum Pagnozzi! Callum Pagnozzi spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
