The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koroi clinches. Custer working some nice short punches in the clinch. A nice left hand lands by Custer.
Custer lands on the inside with an uppercut. Custer has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Custer throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Custer tries to work over Koroi's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Koroi wants to get back to striking at distance but Custer won't allow it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alvarado fails with an attempt to clinch.
A punch lands to the side of Alvarado 's head but he takes it in his stride. Johnson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Alvarado.

Alvarado wants to clinch but Johnson slips to the side and Johnson counters with a solid body kick. Alvarado looks to clinch enabling Johnson to counter with a crisp jab. Alvarado throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Johnson appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Johnson, right into the meat.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz works Zadran's body with a nice hook. Diaz gets in close and instigates a clinch. Diaz breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Zadran with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Zadran looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Zadran get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? Yes, he's struggled back up to his feet and seems OK to continue. The referee agrees so we're back to the action!

and Corn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Stevens jabs Corn to the body, keeping him at a distance. A low kick from Stevens misses and Corn counters with a lovely shot to the body. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. Ashley Stevens was interviewed post fight and said 'Thank you all for coming out here, I hope we helped make it enjoyable. I don't really know what comes next; I'm gonna go back to Montreal and keep training, Hopefully I did well enough in this fight to move up in the standings so I can get another fight. This guy is a tough dude and he's also very s'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the liver by Madruga. Beautiful body shot. Robinson tries to move into range but Madruga moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Robinson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Madruga counters with a body kick that stops Robinson in his tracks momentarily. Robinson scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Madruga to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
