The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Koniezko on the side of the head.
Koniezko ducks under a wild hook from Panda.
Despite the aggression on Koniezko's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Panda rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Koniezko counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Koniezko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Panda.
Panda looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Panda misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Koniezko.
Koniezko lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Panda takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nice jab there from Koniezko.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sascha Koniezko decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
