Truck tries to work over Fest's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Truck has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Fest pushes Truck back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Truck tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fest avoids it.
Truck tries to land knees in the clinch but Fest avoids the damage to the body.
Truck is trying to pull guard but Fest turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Truck is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

and Razor rattles Page with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Page tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Razor dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Page stiff and motionless on the mat!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, John Machado!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wallstrom lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Machado at a distance.
Wallstrom lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Machado circles away quickly and effectively.
Wallstrom throws a head kick but Machado moves out of range.
Wallstrom has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Midnight MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Wallstrom avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Machado dives in and grabs Wallstrom's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wallstrom pushes down on Machado's head and hops out.

Machado scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Machado tries to move into full mount but can't pass Wallstrom's legs.

Machado wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wallstrom, who protects the arm well.
Wallstrom is trying to get back to half guard.

Machado is looking to take a break and control but Wallstrom is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Machado tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Wallstrom regains half guard there - taking advantage of Machado's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Machado is trying to work for a kimura but Wallstrom is defending well.

Machado is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Machado is looking for submissions but instead, Wallstrom has regained full guard.

Machado throws his legs up looking for a submission but Wallstrom uses it to pass to side control.
Machado is trying to control Wallstrom's posture but Wallstrom avoids it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Machado is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Wallstrom is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Machado slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Machado tries to get to full guard but Wallstrom has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Machado tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Wallstrom has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Machado is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bjorn Wallstrom dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Machado tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wallstrom swivels and escapes.
A quick step to the side and Wallstrom tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Machado.
Wallstrom misses with a lunging right hand
and Machado counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wallstrom changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Machado closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like John Machado has been cut.
Wallstrom fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wallstrom jabs Machado to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Machado looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wallstrom is fending him off so far but Machado persists. Nope, Wallstrom circles away and we're back to standing.
Bjorn Wallstrom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Machado.
Wallstrom throws a head kick that Machado semi-blocks.
Wallstrom plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Machado to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Machado just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
