Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kigo Torres (ranked 2740 p4p, 320 weight class) and Gabriel Menezes (ranked 3632 p4p, 407 weight class). Torres's entrance music is Unforgiven. A fine choice. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Torres misses with a body punch

and Menezes moves into the clinch.
Torres is trying to push Menezes away but Menezes has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Torres is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Menezes lands a right hand that snaps the head of Torres backwards.
Menezes tries to work over Torres's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Menezes fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Torres escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Torres misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Menezes scores with a hook to the body. Torres takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Torres takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Torres definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Menezes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Torres manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Torres drops Menezes with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Menezes looks back up at him and smiles so Torres waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Gabriel Menezes has been cut.

Menezes switches off momentarily and Torres cracks him with a monster right hand! Menezes topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Torres dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Torres!
