It looked like Bamalog was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Alvado. Bamalog throws a leg kick and Alvado counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bamalog takes a shot right to the bread basket. Alvado tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bamalog was well out of range. Poor timing from Alvado. Bamalog swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Alvado displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bamalog throws out the jab.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Teke Bamalog. Well Bamalog has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Speedman should have avoided that one. Little throws a big shot that misses. Speedman unleashes a big counter combination but Little bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Some bone on bone action there as Speedman checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. As Little backs off Speedman throws a huge counter combo but Little manages to avoid it all. Speedman avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Speedman has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Little. Speedman slips under a jab. Little wants to clinch up but Speedman keeps it at a distance. A telegraphed right hand from Little misses the target.
