Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rokuya Date (ranked 780 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brazilian Burger (ranked 710 p4p, 0 weight class). Burger is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sorriso Maroto - Assim Você Mata o Papai. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brazilian Burger!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Date's waist but Date gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Burger off to one side.
Date tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Burger was well out of range. Poor timing from Date.
Burger fails with the takedown
and Date counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Date gets caught napping as Burger dives in and scores a takedown. Date manages to retain guard.
Burger lands a couple of digs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Date is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Burger presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
