Ferlakov tries to bum rush Banes with a series of wild strikes but Banes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Banes connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Anderi Ferlakov has been cut.
Banes turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ferlakov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ferlakov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Banes slaps away a takedown attempt from Ferlakov, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Ferlakov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Banes tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ferlakov is in Banes's guard.

Takaziko darts in looking for a takedown but Charles gets double underhooks and turns Takaziko into the cage.
Takaziko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Charles tries to avoid it but Takaziko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Charles to the ground. Charles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mako Takaziko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
