4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyreke Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gilbert Grand Jacques! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.

Davis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Grand Jacques. Davis throws an overhand right that lands on Grand Jacques's shoulder, as Grand Jacques tries to avoid the shot. Grand Jacques tries to close the distance and clinch but Davis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Davis keeps the fight on the outside. Davis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Grand Jacques stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Davis throws a big shot that misses. Grand Jacques tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Davis swivels and escapes. Davis cracks Grand Jacques with a good jab. Davis swats away the attempt to clinch by Grand Jacques. Davis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grand Jacques was well out of range. Poor timing from Davis. Grand Jacques takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Davis throws a looping overhand right but Grand Jacques ducks down to avoid it. Davis lands a nice leg kick that just misses Grand Jacques's sensitive parts. Grand Jacques fails in his attempt to clinch. Davis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grand Jacques manages to avoid it. Grand Jacques fails with an attempt to clinch.
Grand Jacques closes this distance looking for a takedown but Davis circles away.

Davis throws out a loose jab but Grand Jacques uses good head movement to avoid it. Davis cracks the inside of Grand Jacques's front leg. Grand Jacques looks gassed! Grand Jacques fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Tyreke Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gilbert Grand Jacques. Grand Jacques has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Davis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Grand Jacques moves out of range of the strikes. Davis looks to land a combination but Grand Jacques avoids it well. A cross from Davis lands. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Davis works the jab nicely. Davis lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Davis lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Grand Jacques ducks under a wild hook from Davis. Davis tries to work over Grand Jacques's front leg with a kick but Grand Jacques checks it. Davis thows a left - swing and a miss! Davis thuds his right hand into Grand Jacques's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Grand Jacques is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Davis. Davis lands a nice hook to Grand Jacques's body. Grand Jacques takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Grand Jacques takes a shot to the body in his stride.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Davis. Davis's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Davis.

With the fighters up against the cage, Grand Jacques throws an elbow but misses. Grand Jacques throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Grand Jacques pushes off an throws an elbow but Davis leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. A hook to the body from Davis.
A frustrated look appears on Grand Jacques's face as he tries to break the clinch. Davis lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Grand Jacques backwards. Davis is pushing Grand Jacques up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Grand Jacques is trying desperately to land a takedown but Davis is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Grand Jacques. Davis keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Grand Jacques's efforts to push away.
Davis works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Davis works over Grand Jacques with some ground and pound from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davis advances to half guard. Davis is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The strikes coming from Davis are missing the target in this wave of attacks. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Grand Jacques wants to control but Davis postures up. Davis lands an elbow. Davis creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Grand Jacques uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Davis. Grand Jacques moves away from the strike by Davis. Davis throws a lazy right hand but Grand Jacques sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Grand Jacques throws a leg kick but Davis sees it coming and moves out of range. Grand Jacques tries to clinch up and Davis counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Davis misses with a series of wild punches.

A low kick from Davis is predictable there and Grand Jacques counters with a big head kick but Davis shrugs it off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis circles away from the clinch attempt and Davis counters with a left to the body. Davis tries to clinch up
and Grand Jacques counters with a nice double leg into guard. Davis on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Davis tries to get out of the position. Grand Jacques is breathing heavily.

Grand Jacques keeping moving, preventing Davis from controlling successfully. Grand Jacques utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davis trying to control the position from guard on top but Grand Jacques is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Davis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Davis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Davis has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Davis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Davis thows a body shot but no joy. Davis throws a head kick that misses and Grand Jacques counters with a slapping leg kick. Davis throws a front kick aimed at Grand Jacques's knee but Grand Jacques avoids it well. Grand Jacques with a lazy takedown attempt and Grand Jacques takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Davis fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Grand Jacques on the side of the head.

We're back to striking at a distance. A clash of legs there as Grand Jacques blocks the low kick. Grand Jacques wants to clinch but Davis slips to the side and Grand Jacques takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Davis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Davis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyreke Davis dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Davis walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Grand Jacques checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Grand Jacques tries to clinch and Davis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Grand Jacques avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Grand Jacques looks to clinch letting Davis counter with a right hand. Grand Jacques keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Davis works over Grand Jacques with some ground and pound from guard. Davis distracts Grand Jacques with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Davis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Tyreke Davis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Walker throws an overhand right that lands on Carter's shoulder, as Carter tries to avoid the shot. Walker looks to land a right hand but Carter moved out of range. Walker wants to clinch up but Carter keeps it at a distance. Walker throws a good cross that connects.
Carter has taken the fight to the clinch.
Walker has Carter pressed against the cage, preventing Carter from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Walker misses with an elbow over the top.
Carter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Carter steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Walker. Carter works over Walker's head and body with a nice combination. Carter will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A slow jab from Walker misses its intended target.
Carter drops Walker with a left and a right! Oh, Walker is hurt - Carter dives into side control looking to finish!

Futcar drives through and clinches with Laraque against the cage.
Futcar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Futcar lands an overhand right. Futcar connects with a crisp jab. Futcar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Laraque.
Futcar gets a takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Futcar wants to pass to mount but Laraque is defending the position. Laraque is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Futcar scores with a couple of nice shots. Laraque keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Laraque is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Futcar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Futcar takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Futcar wants to control but Laraque is keeping him busy. Laraque looks like he's trying to stand up.

Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Laraque. Futcar can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Laraque is looking to escape. Laraque working to try and regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Futcar takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Futcar is landing with strikes from the back. Laraque tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Laraque is looking to improve his position but Futcar isn't that keen on the idea. Futcar tries to control but Laraque wriggling away.

Futcar is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Laraque shoots in for a takedown but Futcar shows good takedown defense. Laraque takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Laraque looks gassed! Futcar misses with a double jab.
Laraque takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

McBrody throws a nice inside leg kick. A punch lands to the side of Mur 's head but he takes it in his stride. Mur walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Mur takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. McBrody feints and then cracks Mur's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mur down. McBrody scoring well with a low kick there.

Botanovic walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kurosawa checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Kurosawa throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Bot Botanovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Botanovic chopping away at his opponent's legs.
