The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Vattakkuzhi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Vattakkuzhi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wagner.
Wagner blocks a jab.
Wagner feinted with a counter takedown.
Wagner closes the distance and clinches up with Vattakkuzhi, looking for a takedown. Wagner pushes Vattakkuzhi against the cage but Vattakkuzhi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Vattakkuzhi tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Wagner cranks the arm and Vattakkuzhi screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Vattakkuzhi, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Lemieux lands a big right hand that sends Hughes crashing to the mat! Lemieux stays standing though and waves Hughes back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lemieux drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Hughes right on the button. Hughes goes down! Lemieux follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Lemieux gets the win via TKO!
