The bell rings for round one and we are underway! roman fails with a takedown attempt. roman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yrttiseppa as he jumps to the side. roman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yrttiseppa avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abraham Issai roman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yrttiseppa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. roman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Yrttiseppa looks up at the clock and then as roman takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Yrttiseppa smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Yrttiseppa is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Yrttiseppa hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ivanov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tayman sprawls well. Tayman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ivanov gets slowly back to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Tayman looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Tayman moves into the clinch. Ivanov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Tayman prevents the takedown attempt.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kurose drops back looking for a leg! Aranico is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aranico manages to kick Kurose off! Kurose jumps back into Aranico's guard. Kurose postures up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Norris fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Rakusaba closes the distance and clinches up with Norris, looking for a takedown. Rakusaba pushes Norris against the cage but Norris circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Norris connects with a body shot. Hideaki is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Andric sees it coming and defends easily. Hideaki wants to free his trapped foot but Andric is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Hideaki looking to sit in guard and control but Andric gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hideaki manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hideaki is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Andric frees his head nicely. Oh but Hideaki has switched to an armbar! Andric is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
