The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Push feints and as Lawler raises his hands in defense, Push changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Push controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Push trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Push is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Push stands and throws Lawler's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lawler seems a little lost for a moment, as Push dominates the positioning.

Lawler is pushing Push's head away, looking to escape. Push manages to hold on to the position though.
Push looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Push moves in looking to clinch but Lawler pushes him off.

Marciano is looking to get back to his feet here but Sokolov is keeping cool and he's managed to take Marciano's back.

Sokolov is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Marciano has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Sokolov has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Marciano taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Sokolov doesn't care though - he's delighted!

and Edgar counters with a three punch combo that has Drake backing up. Drake nods at Edgar to acknowledge the strikes.

A quick step to the side and Drake tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Drake has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Edgar jumps guard but Drake turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drake circles away from the clinch attempt
and Drake counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Edgar out cold! What a finish! Drake is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Cooper Drake spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
