Kulemin lands a big right hand that sends Russell crashing to the mat! Kulemin stays standing though and waves Russell back to his feet!

No luck with that takedown attempt from Biggers.
Biggers throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Biggers looks to score with a jab to the body but Fusco is just out of range.
Biggers throws a chopping leg kick but Fusco manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Fusco looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Fusco misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Biggers.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fusco throws out a counter right but Biggers avoids it with no problem.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Biggers.

Biggers throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fusco was covering up waiting for the punch and Biggers finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fusco utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Fusco not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fusco looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Biggers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fusco is looking to sweep but instead, Biggers has passed into half guard.

Biggers winds up and cracks Fusco with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Biggers is taking a breather. Fusco says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fusco can do anything to dispel that myth.
Biggers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fusco keeps working.
Fusco is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Biggers working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Biggers connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Fusco some visible discomfort.
Biggers is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fusco will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Fusco is working to avoid the ground and pound but Biggers connects with a decent elbow.
Fusco takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Dondracius Biggers dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Biggers shoots for a double leg takedown but Fusco sprawls well. He's pushed Biggers's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fusco slips a jab and a cross from Biggers.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Fusco! But no joy.
Biggers misses with a takedown
and Fusco counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Fusco counters with a stiff right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dondracius Biggers. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Fusco scores with a counter punch that sends Biggers to the canvas! Fusco smells blood - he's punishing Biggers with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Biggers has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

The crowd goes nuts as Xavier knocks Ruff out cold with a massive hammerfist! Xavier Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
