The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
van Bommel leaves Zemenov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Zemenov fails with the takedown.
Zemenov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Zemenov was out before he hit the floor!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gambino has left one of his arms exposed and Yankowy doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Gambino screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Jones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Caprillo to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Caprillo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Caprillo, into his guard.
Caprillo throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Caprillo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Caprillo striking off his back but it's not causing Jones any problems.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jones's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Azzan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bastich swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Azzan takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Azzan is rocked!
Whack! Bastich lands a heavy head kick that drops Azzan. The ref tackles Bastich to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Azzan was done.
