The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Christy tries to clinch up and Booker counters with a nice uppercut. Booker lands a body shot.
Christy darts in trying to clinch and Booker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Christy tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Booker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Christy is looking to take this fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Booker lands a big right hand that sends Christy crashing to the mat! Booker stays standing though and waves Christy back to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Christy looks up at the clock. Bad move! Booker lands a right hand from hell, dropping Christy . Booker pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Dibala, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dibala misses with a two punch combination.
Kaki defending well as Dibala loads up on a big left hand. An attempted straight right counter from Kaki misses the target. Kaki uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dibala. Dibala throws a looping overhand right but Kaki ducks down to avoid it. A jab from Kaki misses. Kaki misses with a double jab.
As Kaki backs off Dibala throws a huge counter combo but Kaki manages to avoid it all. Kaki misses with a right hand and Dibala counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Dibala drops Kaki with a beautiful combination! Kaki stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dibala is looking for the KO!
Kaki is rocked!
It looks like Kannissa Kaki has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kaki swinging wildly here.
Oh Kaki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dibala throws a lazy right hand but Kaki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kaki seems to have got his legs back now. A big left from Kaki misses.

and Dibala counters with a nice right hand that sends Kaki toppling to the canvas! Kaki scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Dibala finish him?! Kannissa Kaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kaki throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dibala counters with a huge right that knocks Kaki out cold! Dibala is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Luke Dibala! Jumping up and down and very excited, Luke Dibala waved his t-shirt featuring Freebok (85% Laundry)'s logo in front of the cameras.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oliavo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Oliavo cracks a nice hook into Orange's ribs. Orange defending well as Oliavo loads up on a big left hand. Oliavo gets caught flat footed, as Orange shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Orange prevents Oliavo from getting back to his feet. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Orange trying to control the position from guard on top but Oliavo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Oliavo can't keep his opponent in guard - Orange advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Oliavo is trying to control but can't.
Orange looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Young manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Young throws a series of punches but Fon moves out of range. Fon throws a big counter combination but Young scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Fon looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fon walks away with a smile on his face. Young gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Fon pushes Young up against the ropes in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young tries to pull guard but Fon forces him back to his feet, against the ropes. Rae Fon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rizzo Young. Young stalling in the clinch but Fon improves position. A battle for position here, against the ropes. Fon throws a punch but it's blocked by Young. Fon content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Fon can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Rae Fon. Fon tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Young manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Fon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Young. Young rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fon moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A slapping leg kick lands for Young.
Young scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Fon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Young avoids the head kick by Fon.
Young tries a quick counter leg kick but Fon is wise to it. Young slips a straight right by Fon. Fon throws a leg kick that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Young. Fon tries to clinch but Young moves out of range. Young fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Young scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Young throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Fon is breathing heavily. Fon takes a body punch but keeps moving. Fon looks to clinch and Young counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. The fighters circle, before Young throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Fon's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Young lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Rizzo Young! Rizzo Young is the new middleweight champion! Rizzo Young seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferrari fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Ferrari's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Head connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ferrari scrambles back to his feet. Head scores with a jab to the jaw. Ferrari swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Head seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Ferrari ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Head moves away. Head misses the shot to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Head. Ferrari does a little dance to reset his feet. Head has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Men Only. No Liberals ! in the buildup to the fight. Ferrari is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
