The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo doesn't manage to clinch there - Stalin circles away.
Aldo feints and then cracks Stalin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stalin down.
We've been hearing reports that Stalin has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Aldo tries to close the distance and clinch but Stalin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Some bone on bone action there as Stalin checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
