Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Barbados (ranked 2183 p4p, 106 weight class) and Yuri Sorokov (ranked 2505 p4p, 116 weight class). Barbados kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is What's It All For. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Horrible takedown attempt by Sorokov or perhaps it was just good defense by Barbados, which made it look bad.
Sorokov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barbados tries to avoid it but Sorokov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barbados to the ground. Barbados escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sorokov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Barbados connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sorokov scrambles back to his feet.
Sorokov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barbados but Barbados pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Aldo Barbados has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yuri Sorokov.

Phol Hunt decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
