The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kebab moves to clinch but Akhmedov breaks away and Akhmedov counters with a big uppercut that knocks Kebab off his feet! Akhmedov dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Remove Kebab has been cut. Akhmedov lands some shots froms side control. Kebab is still in real trouble! Can Akhmedov finish him? Kebab trying to remain calm as Akhmedov controls from the top position. Kebab is trying to get back to half guard. Akhmedov cracks Kebab with an elbow. That is naaassty. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Kebab seems to have recovered his senses. Kebab can't do much from the bottom here. Akhmedov landing strikes. Akhmedov is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Kebab tries to get the hooks in deep but Akhmedov pushed the leg off. Kebab gets his hands free as Akhmedov looks to control. Akhmedov trying to get back to his feet but Kebab is in full control for now. Akhmedov staying busy and making it hard for Kebab to control. Akhmedov wants to get back to his feet.

Akhmedov is trying to get back to his feet but Kebab has full control of the position and if anything, Akhmedov has just worked his way into a worse spot. Kebab is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Akhmedov wants to escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Kebab's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Akhmedov lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Kebab head around and knocks him out cold! Akhmedov hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ceallach lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Drung avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Drung goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Ceallach takes one on the button. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Ceallach has taken the fight to the clinch.

Drung throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Two is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Lanaster couldn't care less - he's delighted!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Toa defending well as Freud loads up on a big left hand. Freud has his takedown stuffed and Toa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. No luck with that takedown attempt from Freud. An attempted straight right counter from Toa misses the target. Freud darts in looking for a takedown but Toa gets double underhooks and turns Freud into the cage. Jimi Toa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erick Freud. Freud moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Freud scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Freud just content to control the position. Freud throws a strike aimed at the side of Toa's head but Toa avoids it well. Freud lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Toa is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Left hook, right uppercut from Toa. Freud drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Toa wants to stand up but Freud is controlling him. Freud is looking to work some ground and pound but Toa has wrist control. Toa wants to stand but Freud is controlling the position. Freud is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
