The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gonzalez paws at him with a jab and circles away. Perez is looking to clinch but Gonzalez is avoiding it.

Perez is desperately trying to improve his position but Gonzalez has a good base and remains in mount. Perez tries to hold on but Gonzalez pushes him away. A big strike lands for Gonzalez! That's really hurt Perez and he's turned his back - Gonzalez keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Gonzalez jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Vieira avoids the body shot from Bogard.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A head kick misses from Vieira. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bogard lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vieira has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vieira and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Vieira let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Terry Bogard is winning the standup battle so far. Vieira fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bogard avoids it really well and circles away. Terry Bogard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael Vieira. Bogard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bogard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Vieira lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vieira takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Vieira shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Bogard has one foot on Vieira's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Bogard lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vieira at a distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Good leg kick by Vieira there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bogard throws a front kick aimed at Vieira's knee but Vieira avoids it well. Bogard stuffs the takedown. Vieira takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Vieira tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bogard swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bogard throws a wild body kick that Vieira sees coming a mile off. Vieira tries to close the distance and clinch but Bogard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bogard shoots for a takedown but Vieira saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bogard throws a body punch but Vieira moves out of range. Vieira will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

No luck for Bogard with that takedown attempt. Bogard dives in and grabs Vieira's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vieira pushes down on Bogard's head and hops out. A head kick misses from Vieira. Bogard lands with an uppercut that bounces Vieira off the cage and back into range. Bogard lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Bogard lands with a cross. Bogard defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vieira. Bogard shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Vieira has closed the distance and engaged Bogard in a clinch.

Vieira looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Bogard manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Bogard working some nice short punches in the clinch. Vieira gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Bogard wriggles free and stands up. Bogard looks to land a left hand but Vieira moved out of range nicely. Vieira takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Vieira shoots in and bounces Bogard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bogard is looking for a triangle but Vieira pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Vieira scoring with punches to the head and body.

Coach misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bo Angliese. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Angliese, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Angelov tries to clinch but North moves out of range. Oooooh!!! Angelov has knocked North down with a huge combo! Angelov steps away and waves a wobbly North back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Miles North has been cut. Angelov throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on North's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Angelov dives in looking to finish as North flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Angelov's strikes! Angelov is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! North's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but North was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Snow has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Andersson is landing a low percentage of strikes. A nice inside leg kick there by Andersson. That's going to slow Snow down. Andersson lands a head kick. Snow smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Mike Snow has been cut. Snow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Andersson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Snow sprawling to the canvas! Snow rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Andersson finish him?!
Snow is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Snow tries to clinch but fails miserably and Andersson counters with a big left hand that crumples Snow! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
