Al Ahwei comes to the cage accompanied by Whirling Madness. St Pierre has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Al Ahwei got a little sloppy there for a moment and St Pierre has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Al Ahwei has managed to get both his arms back between St Pierre's legs - danger averted.
St Pierre is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Judah's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dall under the eye.
Dall takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dall misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Judah.
Judah misses with a lunging right hand
and Dall counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dall scores with a jab. Judah acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Dall bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dall swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Judah throwing a counter right hand but Dall manages to avoid it.
Dall misses with a looping left.
Judah does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Judah ducks under a wild hook from Dall.
Judah throws a body shot but no joy.
Dall takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Hyryx Dall has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dall throws a leg kick
and Judah counters with a nice body kick.
Dall throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Judah counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dall misses with a low kick as Judah jumps back.
Judah is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dall misses with a wild body shot.
Dall uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Judah.
Dall takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Dall drops his hands momentarily and Judah takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Judah throws the kick towards the body but Dall avoids it.
Hyryx Dall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dall throws a head kick that misses
and Judah counters with a big right hand! Oh Dall is in trouble here! Judah follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ras Li Judah!
Ras Li Judah retains his light heavyweight title!
