The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Highsmith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gold's waist but Gold gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Highsmith off to one side.

Gold fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Highsmith, pushing him back against the cage.
