Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clubber Bull (ranked 5022 p4p, 538 weight class) and Jo Boo (ranked 4902 p4p, 527 weight class). Bull comes to the cage accompanied by Rage. Jo Boo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jo Boo! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bull closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Boo quickly recovers to half guard. Boo wants to get back to full guard. Boo actively working from the bottom here. Boo is not content to let Bull control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boo is looking to control Bull's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Boo avoid being mounted? Boo tries to get to full guard but Bull has control of the leg. We've been hearing good reports from Bull's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boo trying to control here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane throws the left hand but Murphy avoids the punch easily. Murphy scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kane in his tracks. Kane misses with an uppercut
and Murphy counters with a nice kick to the body. Kane throws a body kick that misses. Murphy tries to land a front kick but Kane steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Kane throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Murphy throws a jab but it's blocked by Kane. Murphy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Kane scores with a sloppy right hand. Murphy should have avoided that one. Murphy avoids the head kick by Kane.
