On his way into the cage it seems that LeDon Jadman has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily LeDon Jadman seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chris McGruder! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jadman throws a body shot but no joy. McGruder is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jadman thuds a left hand into McGruder's body. Jadman wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. McGruder ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jadman misses with a jab, cross combination.
A little jabbing left from McGruder on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Jadman misses with a double jab.
Jadman slips a straight right by McGruder. McGruder moves out of range of the strikes. McGruder appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. McGruder misses the shot to the body. Jadman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jadman lands with a good body shot. Danga de danga de dang - Jadman scores with a four punch combination!
 It looks like Chris McGruder has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jadman pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces McGruder back to the cage. Jadman follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Jadman lands with a hook. McGruder tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. McGruder keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jadman.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A punch combination from McGruder misses. Jadman feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits McGruders jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
 McGruder is rocked! Are you kidding me?! Jadman ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent McGruder clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis lands with a nice body punch. Davis lands with a nice body punch. Blake tries to clinch up. Davis misses with a double jab.
Blake moves in looking to clinch but Davis pushes him off. Davis lands with a good body shot. Davis lands with a hook. Blake tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Blake comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Blake's coach down at ELITE Island Gym - 19 Elite Coaches - $300/Week was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Blake's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Blake missing with a left hand there. Davis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Blake with a jab. Blake throws a head kick that misses. Davis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
This has been an exciting period of action! Davis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Blake tries to close the distance and clinch but Davis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Blake shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Blake swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Davis seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Davis throws a right and a left that both miss. Blake is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Blake avoids the body shot from Davis.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Blake slips a jab from Davis. Blake tries for a takedown but Davis circles away easily and Davis counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Blake drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Davis defends it well. Blake throws a wild body kick that Davis sees coming a mile off. Davis appears to be looking for a big counter. Blake connects with a jab. Blake bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Davis's head backwards. Davis stalks Blake and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Blake's face. Blake staggers backwards, shaken.
 It looks like Rico Blake has been cut. No luck with that takedown attempt from Blake. Davis is looking to wear down Blake with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Blake looks winded!
Davis drops Blake with a beautiful combination! Blake stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Davis is looking for the KO! This has been an exciting period of action! Davis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blake circles away quickly and effectively. Blake throws the kick towards the body but Davis avoids it. Blake closes the distance and clinches up with Davis, looking for a takedown. Blake pushes Davis against the cage but Davis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Davis. Blake uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Davis.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. No joy there for Davis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Blake wants to control the pace but Davis is squirming around nicely. Davis tries to buck Blake off but he can't manage it. Blake takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Davis tries to buck Blake off but he can't manage it.

The fighters circling - Davis throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Blake shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Davis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blake manages to avoid it. Blake dodges the punch combination from Davis.

letting Davis counter with a right hand. Davis gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Blake is defended easily by Davis.

Blake scores with a punch to the head. Davis throws a right and a left that Blake avoids nicely. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Blake wants to clinch but Davis slips to the side and Davis counters with a one-two to the body. Blake shoots in looking for a takedown but Davis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Blake's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Davis throws a nice looking combination but Blake bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Blake let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Davis misses with a body shot.
Blake looks to throw the jab but Davis is out of range. Davis punishes Blake's body with a nice straight punch. Davis takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Davis misses with a hook. Blake ducked under it nicely.

Da Silva keeping moving, preventing Kawanabe from controlling successfully. Kawanabe is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Kawanabe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Golov connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Golov moves out of range of the body kick. Rivers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Golov as he avoids it easily. Golov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Golov throws a combination that misses and Rivers counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Golov thinking. A jab from Golov does it's job there. Rivers shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Golov to counter with a crisp jab. Rivers shoots for a takedown but Golov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Golov steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Rivers. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jumping Rivers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Golov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Golov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Golov throws a push kick but Rivers slaps the foot to one side.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DeCastro throws a jab when Gerou was well out of range. Gerou gets cracked there but stands up to it.
DeCastro slaps away a takedown attempt from Gerou, before circling back to the center of the mat. DeCastro appears to be looking for a big counter. Gerou connects with a body shot. Gerou doesn't succeed with the takedown and DeCastro counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. DeCastro throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Gerou shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. David DeCastro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dagu Gerou. Gerou slips under a jab. DeCastro misses with a hook. Gerou ducked under it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gerou lands a lovely overhand right. Gerou shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as DeCastro sprawls well. DeCastro wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gerou gets slowly back to his feet. A nice combination there by DeCastro.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nova ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Nova feints a jab promting Stoner to slip. Nova then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Stoner slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Nova uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stoner. A jab lands there for Nova . Nova slips under a jab. No luck with that takedown attempt from Stoner. Stoner slips a straight right by Nova . Nova stuffs the takedown. Stoner tries for a takedown but Nova sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Baxter Nova has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maverick Stoner. Stoner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nova avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nova throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stoner counters with a shoot takedown. Nova fights it but they end up in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stoner stops Nova from standing up. Stoner landing some decent shots from guard. Stoner works over Nova with some ground and pound from guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stoner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Stoner is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Nova wants to stand up but Stoner is controlling him. Stoner throws a big right hand that misses. Stoner content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Stoner stops Nova from standing up. Stoner works over Nova with some ground and pound from guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stoner is in close to Nova 's body, working some short punches and elbows. Nova wants to get back to his feet but Stoner passes into half guard.
Stoner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Stoner working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Knuckles misses with a straight left. Knuckles paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Knuckles connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Knuckles blocks a jab. Knuckles throws a body punch but Saunders moves out of range. Knuckles swings and misses with a hook to the body.
