Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Jeremy Paxman (ranked 25302 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Richards (ranked 4905 p4p, 545 weight class). Richards comes into a darkened arena with his song building. NF - Intro kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Paxman tries to keep at a distance but Richards has taken the fight into the clinch. Richards has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Paxman uses from the top position. Paxman drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Richards dives on top into guard. Powell jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lock walks away with a smile on his face. Powell gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Lock moves into the clinch. Lock fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Powell is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Powell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lock doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lock manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
