On his way into the cage it seems that Ronald Lemode has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ronald Lemode seems to be OK! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramirez misses with a hook
and Lemode counters with a one-two to the body. Lemode steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ramirez. That one must have hurt. Ramirez misses the shot to the body. Ramirez thuds his shin into the meat of Lemode's side. Ramirez lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Lemode lands with a good body shot. An inside leg kick lands from Ramirez. Lemode with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ramirez to score with a decent uppercut. An inside leg kick lands from Ramirez. Lemode has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Big dawg in the buildup to the fight. Lemode checks a low kick from Ramirez. Lemode takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Talanoa takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Cormilos scores with a hook to the body. Talanoa takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Cormilos throws a body shot but no joy. Talanoa closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Talanoa lands a nice forearm strike. Talanoa is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Cormilos looks calm but he's in trouble here. Talanoa gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Cormilos is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Talanoa lets go of the hold and Cormilos can pop his arm back in it's socket.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knuckles moves into range and clinches up with Visions. Visions lands a right hand that snaps the head of Knuckles backwards. Visions lands on the inside with an uppercut. Knuckles pulls guard effortlessly. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Knuckles has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Visions can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Visions trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Visions is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Visions got a little sloppy there for a moment and Knuckles has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Visions has managed to get both his arms back between Knuckles's legs - danger averted. Knuckles might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Visions throwing strikes from guard but Knuckles blocks nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Visions forces his way into half guard. Visions sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Knuckles defending well though.

Knuckles on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Visions thows a huge punch but Knuckles dodges it nicely.
Knuckles regains full guard. Nicely done. Visions landing with the ground and pound. Knuckles looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Visions puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Visions is working for a submission of some sort.
Knuckles wants to control but Visions is keeping busy and won't allow it. Knuckles has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Visions escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Visions! Knuckles is trying to get back to half guard.

Visions postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Knuckles looks a forlorn figure.
Knuckles's coaches at VEGAS Top Team [$550/week][6 ELITE+3 Exceptional] have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Knuckles tries to buck Visions off but he can't manage it. Visions lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Knuckles is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Visions working Knuckles over with strikes here. Knuckles tries to lock up and control but Visions gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Visions is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Knuckles is surviving well by controlling Visions's body position as best he can. Visions avoids the attempt from Knuckles to control.

Knuckles is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Visions looking for a guillotine from mount but Knuckles is having none of it. Oh Knuckles is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Visions with shots to the head and body - Knuckles looks very uncomfortable down there. Oooooh, big shot lands for Visions! Knuckles is hurt baaadly! Visions is firing away with more strikes - Knuckles is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Woods. Duff misses with a left hand and Woods counters by moving into the clinch. Woods pulls guard. Duff is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Woods has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Duff is looking to defend but Woods has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Duff! Woods pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Duff taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A cross from Dupree lands. Platanares shoots in looking for a takedown. Dupree tries to sprawl out of it but Platanares keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dupree manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dupree paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Platanares moves into range and clinches up with Dupree. Platanares has picked Dupree up - he's going for a ride! Platanares dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Dupree pushes Platanares off and gets back to his feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Dupree pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Platanares back to the cage. Dupree follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Aniceto Platanares has been cut. Platanares darts in looking for a takedown but Dupree gets double underhooks and turns Platanares into the cage. Dupree fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Platanares on the side of the head.
Platanares is rocked! Dupree pushes Platanares up against the cage in a clinch. Platanares has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dupree avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aniceto Platanares. That's going to take a lot out of him. Platanares prevents Dupree from breaking the clinch. Dupree gets underhooks to prevent Platanares's takedown attempt.

Platanares looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dupree's jab looks to have found its range, popping Platanares under the eye. Platanares fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dupree! But no joy. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
That's one minute gone in the round. Dupree throws a wild body kick that Platanares sees coming a mile off. Platanares attempts a counter takedown but Dupree avoids it well and moves away. Platanares with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dupree to score with a decent uppercut. Oh Platanares is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dupree connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Platanares out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Ewe looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Ewe slips under a jab from Corona. Corona is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ewe. An attempted straight right counter from Ewe misses the target. Corona moves out of range of the strikes. Corona walks into a jab.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beliy on the wrong end of a nice jab. Shakhbulatov checks a leg kick. Shakhbulatov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Sasha Beliy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Beliy lands a glancing blow to the side of Shakhbulatov's head.
It looks like Rustam Shakhbulatov has been cut. Nice uppercut lands for Beliy. That snapped Shakhbulatov's head back.
Shakhbulatov fails with a takedown attempt. Beliy stuffs the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shakhbulatov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Shakhbulatov misses with a takedown and Beliy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Beliy tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Shakhbulatov's elbow. Shakhbulatov is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Beliy is defending well. Beliy lands a left hand.
Beliy tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Beliy lands a body punch in the clinch. Shakhbulatov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Beliy pulls his leg out and moves away.
Beliy lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The cut above Rustam Shakhbulatov's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Beliy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Shakhbulatov has his takedown stuffed enabling Beliy to counter with a crisp jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beliy misses with a looping right. Shakhbulatov looks like he wants to counter punch here. Beliy has managed to clinch.
Shakhbulatov jumps guard and drags Beliy to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shakhbulatov working a defensive guard here.
Beliy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Beliy trying to stand up but can't free himself from Shakhbulatov's guard. Beliy controlling from the top position. Beliy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sasha Beliy dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rustam Shakhbulatov's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Beliy drops Shakhbulatov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Shakhbulatov looks back up at him and smiles so Beliy waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Shakhbulatov ducks under a wild hook from Beliy. Shakhbulatov swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. A decent looking cross lands there for Beliy. Shakhbulatov is still on wobbly legs! Can Beliy finish him? Beliy drops Shakhbulatov with a naaaaasty hook - Shakhbulatov is in real trouble here! Beliy dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Strĺlman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Strĺlman thows a leg kick but Ji Woo checks it and Ji Woo counters into the clinch. Nicely done. I was talking to Ji Woo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Ji Woo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Strĺlman lands with a left to the head. Ji Woo misses with a punch to the body.

Strĺlman lands with a right to the head. Strĺlman lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ji Woo backwards. Ji Woo tries to throw a body punch but Strĺlman avoids it by throwing Ji Woo back against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ji Woo. Ji Woo swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Strĺlman is trying to maintain a safe position but Ji Woo gets an underhook and turns Strĺlman into the cage. Ji Woo pushes Strĺlman back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Strĺlman blocks a body shot from Ji Woo. Strĺlman misses with some punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ji Woo pulls guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ji Woo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Strĺlman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ji Woo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Strĺlman controls the pace. Ji Woo wants to sweep here but Strĺlman controlling him for the moment. Strĺlman wants to control from the top but Ji Woo keeps moving. Ji Woo has his foot on Strĺlman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Strĺlman works his way back into a safe position though. Ji Woo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Strĺlman defends well.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Strĺlman is looking to land body kicks. Strĺlman wants to slow Ji Woo down by chopping away at his legs. Ji Woo feinted with a counter takedown. Ji Woo misses with a hook to the body

Ji Woo takes a jab right on the kisser.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strĺlman misses with an uppercut. Strĺlman throws a right hand that misses
and Ji Woo counters with a nice body kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Strĺlman takes a swing at Ji Woo's ribcage but misses. Strĺlman throws a leg kick and Ji Woo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Ji Woo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Strĺlman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ji Woo has gone for a leg lock! Strĺlman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ji Woo's guard. Strĺlman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Strĺlman stopping the sweep attempt from Ji Woo. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Ji Woo counters with a good, hard body kick but Strĺlman shrugs it off. Ji Woo jabs Strĺlman right on the nose. Strĺlman blinks but takes it well. Strĺlman throws a poor cross that misses
and Ji Woo counters with a lovely straight right hand! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Strĺlman moves into range and connects with a jab. Strĺlman buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
