The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Starman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sazelona's half guard. Starman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Sazelona tries to roll over but Starman keeps him under control. Starman lands strikes from half guard. Sazelona trying to control from the bottom.
Sazelona works his way to full guard. Good work. Starman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sazelona has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Starman has managed to get both his arms back between Sazelona's legs - danger averted. Sazelona has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Starman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Starman controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Starman might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Sazelona has control of Starman's left arm, preventing Starman from doing any damage. Starman landing with the ground and pound. Starman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Sazelona is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sazelona looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Starman engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Sazelona is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Starman takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Starman cracks Sazelona with a solid left hand. Starman working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sazelona's head. Starman trying to control but Sazelona is working from the bottom. Sazelona is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Starman stands up over Sazelona, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Starman scoring with punches to the head and body. Starman is working Sazelona over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Starman makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Starman stopping the sweep attempt from Sazelona. Starman is working Sazelona over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Sazelona had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Starman defends it easily. Starman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sazelona. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Starman not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Starman is sitting in close to Sazelona's body. Sazelona has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Starman is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Starman is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Sazelona.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rowlands shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mother defends it nicely. Rowlands closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Rowlands jumps guard but Mother turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Rowlands slows down the pace here.
Mother takes a shot to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mother leaning against his opponent.
Rowlands escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Rowlands doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mother can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mother trying to control but Rowlands is working from the bottom. Mother is looking to work some ground and pound but Rowlands has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rowlands closes the distance and clinches. Mother has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Rowlands is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mother can do to turn this around? Mother has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A short left from Rowlands. Rowlands pulls guard. Rowlands wants to get back to his feet but Mother is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Rowlands seems keen to control Mother's posture. Mother wants to control from the top but Rowlands keeps moving. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Mother is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Rowlands changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mother tries to avoid it but Rowlands manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mother to the ground. Mother escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mother crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rowlands - the referee stops the clock and Mother gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rowlands. Mother manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Rowlands looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mother is fending him off so far but Rowlands persists. Nope, Mother circles away and we're back to standing.

Rowlands throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mother's waist but Mother gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rowlands off to one side. Rowlands slaps away a takedown attempt from Mother, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mother defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rowlands. Mother gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Rowlands counters with an inside leg kick. Rowlands closes the distance and clinches up with Mother, looking for a takedown. Rowlands pushes Mother against the cage but Mother circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mother tries to counter by closing the distance. Rowlands goes for a double leg but Mother avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mother continues to drive forward.

Nope, Rowlands circles away and we're back to standing. Nice sprawl there from Mother as Rowlands shoots in. The fight stays on the outside here - Rowlands looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mother has his takedown stuffed and Rowlands counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rowlands. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mother is trying to force a seperation but Rowlands has the dominant position. Rowlands creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Mother's defenses. Rowlands pulls guard effortlessly. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lee Rowlands. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rowlands, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Lee Rowlands! After the fight, Lee Rowlands was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shanti lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Prout backs up against the cage.
Shanti scores with a jab to the jaw. Shanti scores with a jab to the head.
Shanti lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Prout at a distance.
Prout takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Shanti stuns Prout with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Prout is breathing heavily. Prout shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Shanti counters with a lovely shot to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shanti sizes up Prout with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Shanti's jab looks to have found its range, popping Prout under the eye. Prout walks into a straight right hand from Shanti.
Prout is rocked! Shanti dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Prout backs away from a small jab... but Shanti lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Prout crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Shanti with a spectacular finish!

Lewis has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cornier lands a left and a right that send Face crashing to the mat, dazed. Cornier thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Cornier swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Face now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Face misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cornier moves out of range of the strikes. A punch combination from Face misses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cornier shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Face throws a series of punches but Cornier avoids them all with ease. Cornier misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Face goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Cornier keeps Face at a distance using the push kick. Look low, kick high! Cornier uses the oldest trick in the book to send Face tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Cornier is absolutely delighted - when Face wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
