Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ed Killer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Taivon Arsett! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killer thumps Arsett with a low kick. Killer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Arsett momentarily.
Arsett steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Killer. Nice uppercut lands for Killer. That snapped Arsett's head back.
Arsett ducks under a wild hook from Killer.
Arsett looking to score a takedown here. Killer is defending well but Arsett drives through and ends up in Killer's guard. Killer working a defensive guard here.
Killer is looking to stand up but Arsett isn't so interested in that idea. Arsett is in close to Killer's body, working some short punches and elbows.
 It looks like Ed Killer has been cut. Arsett is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Arsett is looking to work some ground and pound but Killer has wrist control.

Arsett lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Ed Killer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Killer misses with the body kick
and Arsett counters with a nice double leg into side control. Killer won't be happy with that. Killer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Arsett wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Killer can't do much from the bottom here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Arsett is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Killer's shoulder. That is not cool. Killer wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The ground and pound from Arsett seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Killer is trying to get back to half guard. Arsett throwing strikes but missing, from side control. A lull in the action here. Killer is pushing Arsett's head away, looking to escape. Arsett manages to hold on to the position though.

and Arsett decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Killer's guard. Arsett is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Killer looking to control.

Arsett tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Killer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Some wild striking there from Killer.
Arsett drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Killer can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Arsett controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Killer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Arsett's guard.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Killer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arsett swivels though and keeps the full guard. Killer trying to control the position from guard on top but Arsett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Arsett is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Killer is aware though and is defending well. Arsett keeping moving, preventing Killer from controlling successfully. Killer is fighting to break Arsett's control of his arms but Arsett is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Arsett tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Killer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Killer misses with a head kick.

and Arsett counters with a three punch combo that has Killer backing up. Killer nods at Arsett to acknowledge the strikes. Killer looks to land a right hand but Arsett moved out of range. Killer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Killer throws out a powerful jab. Killer misses with a lunging right hand
and Arsett counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Arsett tries to free his leg and advance position but Killer is retaining full guard. Taivon Arsett has got the better of the ground game so far. Arsett lands a couple of elbows. Killer is trying to keep Arsett in close.

and Arsett counters with a takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Killer is trying to buck Arsett off. Arsett lands a decent elbow from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wood throws a leg kick but Krieg sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Krieg tries to sprawl but Wood drives through with a takedown into half guard.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lentz is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Lentz scores with a hook to the body. Head takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Lentz throws a right hand that Head ducks under and follows up with a left that Head also avoids with ease. Head seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Head takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Head tries for a takedown but Lentz circles away easily and Head takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Head seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Lentz lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Lentz misses with an uppercut
and Head counters by moving into the clinch. Lentz stalling.
Lentz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lentz scores with a hook to the body. Head takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Head on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lentz looks to score with a jab to the body but Head is just out of range.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lentz lands a slapping body shot.

Lentz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lentz cracks a nice hook into Head's ribs. Lentz stuffs the takedown. A decent looking cross lands there for Lentz. Lentz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Head moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lentz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Head slips a jab from Lentz. Lentz takes a swing at Head's ribcage but misses. Lentz has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Lentz moves into range and connects with a jab. Lentz chopping away at his opponent's legs.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Head chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lentz can pounce on him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A big right from Lentz misses. Lentz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Head moves away. Head defending well as Lentz loads up on a big left hand. Head seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Head staying out of range there. Head is looking to counter the offense by Lentz and move into the clinch. Lentz lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lentz throws a low kick but it's checked well by Head. Lentz misses with a body shot.
Lentz's coach down at Fight Factory was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lentz's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Lentz pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A shot to the liver by Lentz. Beautiful body shot. A swing and a miss from Lentz.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lentz misses the shot to the body. Lentz swings for the body but Head moves out of range.
Lentz bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Head takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Head fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Crack Head. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Head looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Lentz works his way to full guard. Good work. Lentz has control of Head's left arm, preventing Head from doing any damage.
Head drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lentz manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Head has Lentz in his guard.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Lentz controls from within his opponent's guard. Let's hope that Lentz has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leon Lentz dominated that round. That's time! Head's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lentz throws a jab but it's blocked by Head. Head tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Lentz manages to circle out of the way. Lentz lands a right hook to the body.

Leon Lentz seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lentz lands with a straight right. Head didn't see that one coming. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Head has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lentz finds it's way round the side to connect with Head's head. Lentz lands a glancing blow to the side of Head's head. A shot to the liver by Lentz. Beautiful body shot.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A big left from Lentz misses. A swing and a miss from Lentz. As Lentz tries to get set, Head tries to push him back and clinch up but Lentz manages to avoid the attempt. Lentz has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Lentz throws a jab but it's blocked by Head. Head is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Lentz. A jab from Lentz finds it's way through Head's defenses. Lentz lands a nice looking body shot.

and Head moves into the clinch. Lentz digs a right hand into Head's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Head's gas tank. Lentz lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Lentz lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Head backwards. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lentz creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Lentz lands with a light punch inside.
 Head is rocked!

Lentz breaks the clinch.
Lentz with a hook. Oh Head is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Leon Lentz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lentz circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Head to the canvas! Head doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Lentz keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Niyotrong misses with a low kick. Lopez lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Niyotrong gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Niyotrong has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Lopez is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Niyotrong creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Lopez blocking some punches.

Niyotrong goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Niyotrong tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lopez's elbow. Niyotrong tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Lopez scores with an uppercut up the middle. This has been an exciting period of action!
Lopez has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Niyotrong uses from the top position. Lopez wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Lopez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Niyotrong gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lopez looking for a sweep. Not yet Lopez, not yet. Lopez seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Niyotrong trying to control but Lopez is working from the bottom.
Lopez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Niyotrong should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lopez has tightened it up now! Niyotrong should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

 Hughes is rocked! Bandichoo sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Hughes's defenses. It connects perfectly with Hughes's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

and Sainty counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Sainty is thwarting Peidis's attempts to control the position. Peidis tries to roll over but Sainty keeps him under control. Sainty is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Peidis is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Sainty has latched onto it... Big trouble! Sainty pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Peidis is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Sainty!

Lemieux rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Butabi moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Butabi takes one to the chin there. Butabi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lemieux at a distance.
