0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Veni Domine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daigo Goto! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Domine lands with a hook. Goto tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Goto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Domine moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Domine gets in close and instigates a clinch. Domine scores with a shot to the side of Goto's head. Domine lands a body punch. A short right from Domine. Domine lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Still in the clinch, Domine scores with a nice short uppercut. Domine just leaning against Goto, taking a breather. A head punch blocked on the inside by Goto. Domine lands a right hand. A frustrated look appears on Goto's face as he tries to break the clinch. Domine lands a hook that snaps the head of Goto backwards. Domine lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Goto backwards. Domine prevents the takedown attempt.
Goto tries for a takedown. No joy.
Goto drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Domine gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Munch wants to clinch up but Mason keeps it at a distance. Mason avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Munch shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mason is trying to defend but Munch finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Munch seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Munch in particular looking to stall. Munch stops Mason from getting back to his feet.
Munch is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mason defends it well. Munch trying to control the action but Mason is working from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Mason throws a right and a left that both miss. Munch tries a head kick but it misses.
Munch shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mason as he avoids it easily. Mason is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Munch closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Munch decides to stand back up. Munch steps back and let's Mason get back to his feet. Mason fails in his attempt to clinch. Munch shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mason sprawls well. Mason wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Munch gets slowly back to his feet. Mason tries to close the distance and clinch up but Munch swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Munch closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mason keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Mason avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Munch.

Munch thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Mason makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mason. Mason looking for a sweep. Not yet Mason, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Munch dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Munch shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Mason wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Munch.
Mason is squirming around, avoiding Munch's attempts to control the action. Munch has control of Mason's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mason regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Munch can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mason is looking to escape. Munch tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mason tries to hold on but Munch pushes him away. Munch trying to control but Mason is having none of it. Munch looking to finish Mason with some ground and pound. This is bad for Mason! Munch throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Mason because Munch loaded up on that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Munch can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mason is looking to escape. Munch thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Munch lands with some strikes.
It looks like Andrew Mason has been cut. Mason is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Munch looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Munch working away from the top, dropping strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Munch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Andrew Mason's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Mason takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Left hook, right uppercut from Mason.
It looks like John Munch has been cut. Munch fakes the leg kick and cracks Mason in the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Munch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Munch must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Munch is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Mason keeping moving, preventing Munch from controlling successfully. Munch won't allow Mason to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Munch trying to control the position from guard on top but Mason is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Despite being in the dominant position, John Munch just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Munch looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Munch showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Let's hope that Munch has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Munch working some strikes from top position. Andrew Mason has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mason can't keep his opponent in guard - Munch advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Munch controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Munch thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mason's head. Munch is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Mason might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mason is not content to let Munch control the position.

Fatu gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cringle. Cringle pivots, looking for a leg kick but Fatu is out of range and Cringle settles back down. A head kick from Cringle lands but Fatu takes it in his stride. Nice cross by Cringle. Cringle thumps Fatu with a low kick. Cringle throws a head kick but Fatu moves out of range.

Fatu takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Fatu might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Cringle has got the better of the exchanges. Cringle cracks a nice hook into Fatu's ribs. Fatu is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fatu doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Cringle is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fatu can do to turn this around? Cringle throws a good cross that connects.

Nice straight punches there by Cringle. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Cringle. Fatu sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Cringle lands a really nice looking cross but Fatu seems unphased.
Cringle works Fatu's body with a nice hook. Cringle connects with a jab. Fatu steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Cringle. That one must have hurt. Cringle lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fatu at a distance.

They are putting on a show! Fatu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Cringle scores with a nice strike. Cringle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fatu looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Fatu has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Cringle. Cringle lands a head kick. Fatu smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Fatu takes one to the chin there. Cringle throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fatu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Cringle lands a jab.

Cringle moves into range and connects with a jab. Cringle scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Cringle lands with a nice combination. Fatu backs away looking to recover. A solid leg kick lands there for Cringle.

Fatu didn't see that one coming. Cringle lands with a slapping head kick. Fatu takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cringle, as that shot connected.
A left and a right from Cringle both land. Nice combination. A kick lands to the mid section there for Cringle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cringle looks to land a combination. Fatu sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Nice body punch from Cringle. Cringle dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fatu. That did some damage! Cringle scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Fatu has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Fatu takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Cringle lands with a good body shot. Fatu has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fatu there as he acknowledges the shot. Cringle connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cringle lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Cringle throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Cringle lunges at Fatu with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fatu's hand. Nice jab there from Cringle. Cringle fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Cringle scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fatu doesn't seem bothered though. A left lands for Cringle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cringle moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Cringle lands with a nice combination. Fatu backs away looking to recover. Cringle lands with an overhand left. Cringle swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fatu. A slapping body kick lands there for Cringle. Fatu with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cringle to score with a decent uppercut. Cringle stuns Fatu with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A lazy left from Cringle finds it's target. Rakishi Fatu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fatu walks into a stiff left hand from Cringle.
And that's the end of the fight! Kris Cringle showed his dominance in that final round. Well Cringle has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Santian Sultan! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Suge Knight! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sultan tries to clinch up. Sultan dives in and grabs Knight's left leg, looking for a takedown. Knight pushes down on Sultan's head and hops out. Knight with a jab.
It looks like Santian Sultan has been cut. Knight misses with a wild combination.
Knight stuffs the takedown. The fight moves into the clinch position. Knight keeps control of Sultan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Sultan has had enough of the clinch but Knight keeps him there for the moment. Knight manages to break the clinch.
Sultan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Knight stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Knight wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Santian Sultan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Knight misses with a double jab.
Sultan takes a swing at Knight's ribcage but misses. Knight closes the distance and pushes Sultan back into the cage. Knight's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sultan shoots in and drives through. Knight sprawls well. Sultan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Knight's waist but Knight gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sultan off to one side. Sultan closes the distance looking to clinch and Knight counters by moving into the clinch. Sultan looking for a takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Knight throws a nice looking combination but Sultan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sultan tries to clinch and Knight counters by moving into the clinch. Sultan wants to break the clinch but can't.
Sultan is breathing heavily. Sultan goes for a takedown attempt but Knight pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sultan with a lazy takedown attempt and Knight moves into the clinch. Knight breaks the clinch.
Sultan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Knight paws at him with a jab and circles away. Knight clinches up against the cage. Knight pulls guard effortlessly. Knight has his feet on Sultan's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Knight lands a left and a right that send Sultan crashing to the mat, dazed. Knight thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Sultan is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Knight connects with a superb combination that knocks Sultan out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Knight before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Sultan!
