The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good leg kick by Prior there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Liaw on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Liaw cracks Prior with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Liaw misses the shot to the body. Prior fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Liaw has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Liaw tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Prior is able to avoid easily. Liaw scores with a hook. Liaw ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Prior moves away. Nice defenses there by Prior. Prior turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Liaw takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Prior pushes Liaw up against the cage in a clinch. Liaw working aggressively here.
Prior gets through Liaw's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Liaw misses with the head strike.

Prior connects with an inside leg kick. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Prior.
Prior fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Prior is looking to wear down Liaw with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Prior smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Liaw avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A countering left hand to the body from Liaw misses. Prior lands a nice shot that snaps Liaw's head back.

Prior throws a right hand that Liaw ducks under and follows up with a left that Liaw also avoids with ease. Liaw has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Liaw ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Prior slips under a jab. Prior appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Prior misses with a wild body shot. Liaw throws out a counter right but Prior avoids it with no problem. Liaw fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Prior misses with a low kick as Liaw jumps back. Prior lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Liaw circles away quickly and effectively. Liaw throws a monster overhand right that drops Prior! Liaw follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Check his gloves, they've got chloroform on them!'.

San Pedro tries to move into range but Sousa moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Sousa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from San Pedro. San Pedro misses with an uppercut. Sousa saw that one coming. Sousa is looking to counter punch. Sousa walks into a jab.
It looks like Joao Sousa has been cut. San Pedro looks to throw the jab but Sousa is out of range. San Pedro ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A jab from San Pedro misses. San Pedro uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sousa. San Pedro looks like he wants to counter punch here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mountain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mountain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Out keeps working. Mountain takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Out throws a pinpoint strike between Mountain's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Mountain crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Out scores a great knockout victory!
