0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shawn Rios! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rios misses with a looping right. Chinaman shoots in but Rios avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rios changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Rios blocks a jab. Rios swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chinaman swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Chinaman lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Chinaman doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rios counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rios swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chinaman drives through with a takedown into Rios's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Chinaman stays in close to Rios's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chinaman postures up in Rios's guard and throws a big left but Rios blocks it. Chinaman stands up over Rios, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Chinaman is pushing down on Rios's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rios is fighting to maintain full guard but Chinaman has managed to sneak the leg through. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Chinaman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rios for as long as he can get away with. Chinaman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Chinaman is working for a kimura but Rios is defending it quite comfortably.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alvarez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Alvarez throwing shots but missing, from side control. Alvarez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Marven knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Alvarez working the strikes but Marven uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Alvarez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Marven sees it coming and defends easily. Alvarez wants to pass the guard but Marven is defending well. Alvarez misses with a head shot. Marven uses the momentum to regain guard. Alvarez engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marven wants to stand and escape but Alvarez is having none of it. Alvarez looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alvarez won't allow Marven to get back to his feet. Marven not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Marven being controlled here, momentarily. Alvarez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marven swivels though and keeps the full guard. Alvarez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Alvarez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Marven manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Alvarez has Marven in his guard.
Alvarez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Marven should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Alvarez has tightened it up now! Marven should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drew throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Frost lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Drew circles away quickly and effectively. Frost cracks Drew with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Drew looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Frost finish him?
It looks like Bubba Drew has been cut. Frost is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Drew. Xavier Frost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Frost throws a big shot that misses. Frost throws a right and a left that both miss. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Drew is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Frost's half guard. Drew takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Drew working over Frost with some ground and pound. Frost looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Drew moves into full mount! Frost won't be happy about that! Drew gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! A combination from Frost does no damage. Frost throws a lazy uppercut
and Drew counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Drew feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Drew looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Drew passes into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Drew controls the position. Drew stands up and beckons Frost to his feet. Nice defenses there by Drew. Drew walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Frost throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Drew sees it coming and avoids it easily. Drew uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Frost. Frost throws out a loose jab but Drew uses good head movement to avoid it. Drew throws a series of strikes that have Frost backpedaling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frost throws an overhand right that lands on Drew's shoulder, as Drew tries to avoid the shot. Drew swinging wildly here.
Drew displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Frost throws out the jab. Drew steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Frost. Drew swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Frost cracks Drew with an open hand slap. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A decent looking cross lands there for Drew. Drew shoots in and gets a takedown into Frost's guard. Frost has his foot on Drew's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Drew works his way back into a safe position though. Drew stands up over Frost, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Drew passes Frost's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Drew is thwarting Frost's attempts to control the position. Drew is working for a submission of some sort.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost throws a shot from downtown. Drew moves away and avoids it. Drew closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Frost quickly recovers to half guard. Drew winds up and cracks Frost with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Frost is trying to get back to full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Frost can do anything to dispel that myth. Drew decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Frost throws a right and a left that both miss. Drew swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Drew connects with a jab. Frost might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Drew moves away from the strike by Frost. Frost walks into a left hand. Frost throws a hook but Drew blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frost looks to land a right hand but Drew moved out of range. Frost throws a series of punches but Drew avoids them all with ease. Drew uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Frost. Frost has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Drew is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Drew lands a left and a right that send Frost crashing to the mat, dazed. Drew thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Xavier Frost has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Drew uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Frost. It looked like Drew wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Frost throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Frost drops his hands momentarily and Drew takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Frost is still on wobbly legs! Can Drew finish him? Frost fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Frost throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Drew counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Frost is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Drew works Frost's body with a nice hook. Drew moves away from the strike by Frost. Frost lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Frost. Frost seems to have recovered his senses. Frost looks winded! The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Frost throws an overhand right that lands on Drew's shoulder, as Drew tries to avoid the shot. Drew drives through and clinches with Frost against the cage.
Drew is trying to trip Frost. He has hold of a leg but Frost is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Drew persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Drew is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bubba Drew dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Drew lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Drew takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

He's concentrating on that move too much though and Drew pushes past his half guard into mount! Drew sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Drew scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Frost?

Frost is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Drew distracts Frost with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drew is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Frost working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Drew doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Drew manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Frost looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Drew passes into half guard.
Frost takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Drew is taking a breather. Frost says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Frost is trying to get back to full guard. Xavier Frost has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Drew not doing much here.
Frost actively working from the bottom here. Drew with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Drew landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Drew controlling the pace. Nice strikes from Drew there. Frost trying to hold on to Drew's head to control him but Drew postures up.
Frost might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Drew haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Drew performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Frost throws a lazy uppercut
and Drew cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Frost misses with a straight left. Drew ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Frost moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drew feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Frost's calf. Drew ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Drew tries a head kick but it misses.
Drew is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Frost can do to turn this around? Frost swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Frost on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Frost waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Drew. Frost thows a left - swing and a miss! An attempted straight right counter from Drew misses the target. Drew lands a nice looking body shot.
Drew lands a slapping body shot.
Frost throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Drew sees it coming and avoids it easily. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Drew - that will leave a mark!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Frost misses with a hook. Drew ducked under it nicely. Drew moves into the clinch. Frost scores with a shot to the side of Drew's head. Bubba Drew is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Frost lands with a right to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Bubba Drew showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Drew, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glover uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zoro.
Zoro wants to clinch but Glover slips to the side and Glover decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Zoro's guard. Glover controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Glover's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Glover postures up.
Glover slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zoro is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Glover must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glover stays in close to Zoro's body and controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Glover avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zoro bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Glover's guard. Zoro pushes down on Glover's leg and manages to get into half guard. Glover is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Glover controlling the position for now. Glover is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Glover looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Glover is in trouble now - Zoro has advanced to mount! Glover tries to get back to half guard but can't. Glover is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Zoro is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Glover has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Glover! Glover really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zoro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Zoro wants to sweep here but Glover controlling him for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Pierre Zoro will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murkula buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Harvey closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Harvey - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Harvey has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Murkula avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Harvey manages to pull guard.
