Knagge shoots for a takedown but Bull saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Knagge shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Bull should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bull! But no joy.
Bull is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Knagge had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Bull cracks Knagge with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Knagge looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bull finish him?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandman looks to land a combination. Gathuessi sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Sianga Gathuessi has been cut.

Sandman is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gathuessi is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sandman to the mat. Sandman regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Sandman bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gathuessi's head backwards.

Sandman steps into range and cracks Gathuessi with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Gathuessi flops backwards and Sandman dives into his guard looking to finish!

Sandman wants to control from the top but Gathuessi keeps moving.
Gathuessi is still in real trouble! Can Sandman finish him?

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sandman postures up and lands a big shot to Gathuessi's brow.

Gathuessi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sandman is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gathuessi.

That has opened up Sianga Gathuessi's cut even more.

Sandman tries for a kimura but Gathuessi is defending well.

Sandman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gathuessi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Sandman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sandman stands up.
Gathuessi seems to have recovered his senses.

Sandman cracks Gathuessi with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Gathuessi tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sandman pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gathuessi is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mr Sandman!
An out of breath Mr Sandman thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
