Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Albert Windsor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sizzle Snappe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Windsor might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Killswitch Engage - This is Absolution. Snappe has chosen The Power as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Albert Windsor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sizzle Snappe! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snappe misses with a low kick. Snappe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Windsor. Windsor lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Windsor misses with a few strikes there.
Snappe closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Snappe has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Windsor finds it's way round the side to connect with Snappe's head. Sizzle Snappe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Windsor lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. A nice leg kick lands there from Windsor. Windsor keeps the fight on the outside. Snappe avoids a kick to the body.
Snappe throws a nice head kick!
Snappe misses with a leg kick and Windsor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Windsor misses the jab. Snappe looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Snappe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Windsor.
Snappe tries to clinch but fails miserably and Windsor counters with a nice body shot. Windsor scores with a nice right hand.
Windsor avoids the head kick by Snappe.
A head kick by Snappe misses and Windsor counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Windsor connects with a good right hand that stumbles Snappe. Snappe circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Windsor just misses with a punch to the body.
Snappe shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Windsor napping and manages to drive through into side control! Windsor stops Snappe from passing to mount. Windsor tries to get back to half guard but can't. Snappe throwing shots but missing, from side control. Windsor is looking to reverse the position. Windsor manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Windsor is refusing to be controlled, as Snappe sits in half guard. Snappe missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Windsor cracks a nice hook into Snappe's ribs. Windsor throws out a powerful jab. Windsor works the jab nicely. Nice shot by Windsor. Windsor checks a leg kick. A jab from Windsor misses. Windsor connects with a solid leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Windsor lands with a nice body punch. Windsor is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Snappe looks gassed! Windsor connects with a body shot. Snappe throws a leg kick and Windsor counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Windsor lands with a nice body punch. Snappe takes one to the chin there. Windsor is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Snappe on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Windsor bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. An inside leg kick from Windsor misses. Windsor lands a nice looking kick to the body. Snappe takes a step back to recover.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Windsor lands with a hook. Snappe tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Windsor misses with a low kick. Snappe throws a wild body kick that Windsor sees coming a mile off. Windsor scores with a jab. Snappe walks into a jab. Windsor jabs Snappe right on the nose. Snappe blinks but takes it well. Windsor sizes up Snappe with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Snappe is rocked! Windsor throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Snappe takes a jab right on the kisser.
Snappe is still on wobbly legs! Can Windsor finish him? Windsor cracks Snappe with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice uppercut lands for Windsor. That snapped Snappe's head back.
Albert Windsor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Snappe doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Snappe takes a body punch but keeps moving. Snappe seems to have recovered his senses. Windsor punishes Snappe's body with a nice straight punch. Snappe walks into a straight right hand from Windsor. Windsor fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Windsor tries to bum rush Snappe with a series of wild strikes but Snappe uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Snappe takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Windsor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Snappe's head. Windsor chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A left and a right from Windsor both land. Nice combination. Windsor drops Snappe with a beautiful combination! Snappe stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Windsor is looking for the KO! Windsor drops Snappe with a straight right hand, right on the button! Windsor follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Albert Windsor!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yoshida tries to close the distance and clinch but Iaton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Yoshida shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Iaton's guard. Yoshida preventing the sweep. Iaton controls Yoshida momentarily but Yoshida frees himself. Iaton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Iaton keeping full guard, as Yoshida tries to pass. Iaton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Yoshida manages to get himself to full guard.
Yoshida striking off his back but it's not causing Iaton any problems. Iaton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yoshida is keeping the position for now. Iaton missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Iaton wants to control from the top but Yoshida keeps moving. Iaton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yoshida has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Iaton has managed to get both his arms back between Yoshida's legs - danger averted.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Yoshida landing shots from mount. Iaton regains half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Yoshida drops an elbow to the side of Iaton's head. Yoshida trying to control from half guard but Iaton is working away. Iaton tries to roll over but Yoshida keeps him under control. Iaton wants to control but Yoshida is keeping busy and won't allow it. Yoshida missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Iaton is looking for a sweep. Yoshida is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Yoshida thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Iaton avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Yoshida.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A right-left combo lands from Yoshida. Yoshida throws a sloppy head kick and Iaton moves out of range easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yoshida thows a body shot but no joy. Yoshida throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Iaton's waist but Iaton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yoshida off to one side. A shot to de liver by Yoshida. Beautiful body shot. No luck with that takedown attempt from Yoshida. Yoshida looks to land a combination but Iaton avoids it well. Yoshida misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Iaton.
Iaton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Yoshida takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yoshida sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Yoshida makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Yoshida. Yoshida throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yoshida being controlled here, momentarily. Yoshida has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Iaton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Yoshida is breathing heavily. Yoshida keeping moving, preventing Iaton from controlling successfully. Iaton is in close to Yoshida's body, working some short punches and elbows. Yoshida working a defensive guard here.
Yoshida has an active guard here but Iaton has managed to pass into half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Ken Yoshida will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Yoshida moves in looking to clinch but Iaton pushes him off. Yoshida misses the shot to the body. Yoshida lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Yoshida throws and low kick but Iaton moves out of range easily. Yoshida thows a body shot but no joy. Yoshida fails with the takedown and Iaton counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Iaton. Iaton thows a big elbow that misses. Iaton looking to pass the guard. Iaton loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Iaton missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Yoshida keeping moving, preventing Iaton from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yoshida working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Iaton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Iaton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Iaton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Yoshida working a defensive guard here.
Iaton chips away with some ground and pound. Yoshida is looking to sinch up a triangle. Iaton throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Yoshida's body to avoid the submission. Yoshida has instead reached around Iaton's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Yoshida arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slade keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Slade is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jackson. Slade slips under a jab from Jackson. Slade throws a jab when Jackson was well out of range. Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Slade manages to avoid it. Slade lands an overhand right. The fighters circling - Slade throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Slade looks to throw the jab but Jackson is out of range. Horrible takedown by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Slade which made him look bad. Jackson avoids the body shot from Slade.
Slade throws a lazy right hand but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A jab from Slade misses. Jackson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Slade. Bat Slade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson misses with a shot to the body enabling Slade to counter with a crisp jab. Slade connects with a jab. Jackson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Slade throws out the jab. Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slade moves away. Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Slade. Slade pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

A punch lands to the side of Jackson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Slade missing with a left hand there. Jackson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Slade throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jackson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Slade tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A big right from Jackson misses. Jackson on the wrong end of a nice hook. A slow jab from Slade misses its intended target. Jackson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Slade rather than just go for the knockout. Jackson with a body punch. A glancing blow. Slade swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jackson. Slade lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively. A telegraphed right hand from Slade misses the target. Slade scores with a nice head shot. Slade scores with a jab. Slade misses with a hook.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slade gets caught flat footed, as Jackson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jackson throwing strikes from guard but Slade blocks nicely. Faction Jackson has got the better of the ground game so far. Jackson throwing strikes but missing. Jackson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jackson throws a strike but Slade rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Jackson looking for a sweep. Not yet Jackson, not yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slade wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Faction Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Jackson shoots for a takedown but Slade saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Slade scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Slade lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Slade lands a really nice looking cross but Jackson seems unphased.
Slade throws a hook to the side of Jackson's head but Jackson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Slade misses with a looping right. Slade drives through and clinches with Jackson against the cage.

A head punch on the inside from Slade fails to land. Jackson is looking to break free of the clinch but Slade has double underhooks. Jackson is trying to trip Slade. He has hold of a leg but Slade is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jackson persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Jackson stands up over Slade, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Slade wants to get back to his feet but Jackson passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slade wants to get back to full guard. Jackson is trying to control. Slade wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Slade wants to improve his position but Jackson is controlling well.
Jackson throws a strike but Slade avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Jackson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Slade slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Jackson is looking to stall here but Slade recovers full guard. Slade keeping full guard, as Jackson tries to pass. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jackson lands a couple of digs.
And that's the end of the fight! Faction Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Jackson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Hippo jumps guard and drags Kongo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kongo tries to get back to half guard but can't. King Hippo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davol tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ufalopolaus was well out of range. Poor timing from Davol. Some wild striking there from Davol.

Davol lands with a cross. Ufalopolaus throws a lazy right hand but Davol sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Davol. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nice shot lands for Ufalopolaus. Davol takes a shot to the body in his stride.

and Ufalopolaus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ufalopolaus thuds a left hand into Davol's body. Ufalopolaus throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Davol throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Davol closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ufalopolaus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Knuckles stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Knuckles wants it to stay on the feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wilco is defended easily by Knuckles. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Perry misses with a low kick as Ali jumps back. Perry fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ali. Ali pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ali avoids the head kick by Perry.

He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Chudo! Borneo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Chudo looks a forlorn figure.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Borneo moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Chudo has worked his arm free - good work by Chudo!

and Douche makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Marge Power is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Power will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Douche has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Douche and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Power throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Douche counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Power! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Douche has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Power's face.
Power is looking to get to half guard. Douche breaks from Power's wrist control and lands an elbow. The referee warns Power that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
