Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Russell Lynn (ranked 1110 p4p, 145 weight class) and Jerome Seinfeld (ranked 1637 p4p, 209 weight class). Lynn comes to the cage accompanied by Ready, Set, Go - By: Killer Mike. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Russell Lynn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 17 - 1, fighting out of London, Jerome Seinfeld! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and George Francis.

Lynn moves forwards but Seinfeld connects with a nice, crisp jab. Seinfeld lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Seinfeld feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lynns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Lynn misses with a looping left. Seinfeld is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Lynn cracks Seinfeld with an open hand slap. Lynn walks into a jab. A chopping leg kick lands by Seinfeld. Seinfeld throws a body shot but no joy. Lynn throws a hook to the side of Seinfeld's head but Seinfeld sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lynn looks to land a right hand but Seinfeld moved out of range. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Seinfeld, as that shot connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Seinfeld scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Nice jab there from Seinfeld. Seinfeld throws a head kick that misses. Seinfeld keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Russell Lynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Seinfeld thumps Lynn with a low kick. Seinfeld sizes up Lynn with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Seinfeld is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Seinfeld fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lynn, pushing him back against the cage. Lynn looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Lynn's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Lynn on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Lynn looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Nice jab there from Seinfeld. Seinfeld slips under a jab. Lynn circles away from the clinch attempt
and Lynn counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Ground and pound from Lynn. Seinfeld is trying to get back to full guard. Seinfeld felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Seinfeld slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lynn seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Seinfeld has momentary wrist control but Lynn slips an elbow through the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lynn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Alvarez shoots in for a takedown but Puzo shows good takedown defense. Puzo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Alvarez. That did some damage! Alvarez drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Puzo leaves Alvarez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Alvarez acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Alvarez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Alvarez might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

McGregor scores with an uppercut up the middle. We've been hearing reports that McGregor has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Viking tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McGregor smiles and moves away.

McGregor clinches up with Viking and pushes him back against the cage. We've been informed that Viking has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Viking is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. McGregor looking to throw knees to the head but Viking is blocking nicely.
McGregor misses with a hook from the clinch. Viking stalls. McGregor lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Viking backwards. Viking stalling against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lokren throws out a loose jab but Lethal uses good head movement to avoid it. Lokren lands with an overhand left. Lethal throws a body kick that misses. Lokren throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Lethal looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Lokren throws a jab when Lethal was well out of range. Lethal tried to counter with a leg kick but Lokren avoided it. Lokren blocks the body kick.

We've been hearing reports that Kha has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Kha checks a leg kick. Nice shot lands for Kha. Thacker lands a jab to the head.

Kha uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Thacker. Kha pivots, looking for a leg kick but Thacker is out of range and Kha settles back down. Thacker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kha circles away quickly and effectively. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Thacker defending well as Kha loads up on a big left hand.

Thacker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kha sees it coming and avoids it easily. Alasdair Thacker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thacker lands a really nice looking cross but Kha seems unphased.

Kha has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Thacker. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kha. Thacker replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Kha blocks it well. Kha wants to land a leg kick but Thacker is out of range. Thacker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kha moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Thacker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Thacker throws a leg kick
and Kha counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kha is nestled in close to Thacker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Thacker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kha drops an elbow to the side of Thacker's head.

Thacker felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Kha is just content to waste time from the top position. Thacker takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
